How bad is this? That quack Avenue X won't even be bothered to mention this drama in her videos.
Even though I understand that for native speakers, the line delivery can greatly impact the enjoyment when watching drama but for intl audience, it doesn't really matter much. SWL's acting can be stiff at times, but he gets better as the story progresses. I really enjoyed the beautiful cinematography, exquisite sets and props and especially JBR's acting. He is really good with micro expressions and he gives off the aura of an elegant and sophisticated nobleman. I even subscribed to WeTV VIP just to watch this drama :D

The aesthetic of this drama is really pleasing to the eyes, all the setting and props look exquisite. Loving the besties here (Chen Chou and Wang Yan), best kind of friends who will always watch your back. Did I mention Xu Dong? The way he rolls his eyes are hilarious!

Quickly adds Jae Young to my fictional Best BL Boyfriend List. Pat, Nusib, Dean, and Kurosawa would be so proud…
I'd add Shin Woo from Light on Me to the list as well ^^

Same! You know it's good when it reminds you of CM ^_^
Ikr! CM has been my gold standard for BL drama but now it has a serious contender :D

Perfect 10/10 from me. Even though it's short and doesn't really follow the plot of novel/manhwa, but the chemistry, production, acting and everything are on spot. The way Jaeyoung lovingly looks at Sangwoo gave me butterflies and reminded me of how Kurosawa looks at Adachi in Cherry Magic. That's what you call great acting :)

Please don’t share piracy:)
Best way to deal with illegal link is to report it, MDL will delete the link.

Ep 5, it progresses quite differently compared to the manhwa but I'm still loving it!! Their chemistry is absolutely sizzling, I love how Jae-young adores Sangwoo a lot. Is it just me or Sangwoo is getting more and more cute with his hat off and Jae-young is getting hotter and hotter (esp with his black waiter outfits)?

What have we done to deserve such a good BL right in the beginning of the year? Now I have high expectation for another webtoon adaptation, Cherry Blossoms After Winter. The webtoon is really good and lovely, I hope the adaptation will do the justice.

Let me just clarify the whole Jaeyoung is a stalker point that people keep bringing up cause it isn't entirely…
Yeah, even Sangwoo who is a rigid and rule-abiding person couldn't find anything that Jaeyoung did that was illegal/broke the rules, which really pissed him off XD

This is really good! The directing, editing, acting and chemistry. I love the manhwa and the first 2 eps didn't disappoint, in fact it kinda exceeded my expectation. The actor playing Sangwoo is exactly like I imagined, even though I think he showed a bit more expressions compared to manhwa. Jae-young can come across as smug and a bit greasy in the beginning, but Park Seo-ham quite nailed it with his acting. They changed some stuffs to fit the drama, but it doesn't affect the main story. I hope this will be a start of a more higher quality and budget K-BLs!

Note: I highly recommend reading the manhwa (haven't read the novel tho) in Manta Comic. The art is gorgeous, the story and characters are very well written.

I think “harass” and “humiliate,” are two things that never happened in the drama. And the reason I think…
“fetishizing, romanticizing, normalizing, abuse, harassing, and toxicity” the holy words those people always use to diss and look down on BL works and fandoms, as if there is no such things on hetero relationships.

Done. This company is the same which translated Mo Xiang Tong Xiu novels in english.I didn't buy the books but…
The publisher uses the translators who fan-translated the novel, that's why the translations are great and keep close to the original as much as possible. I really appreciate the publisher, this is a great mutual relationship that benefits the readers too. Still waiting for my copy of HoB though...

Does anyone know where I can find raw video of the eps (no subs)? I want to make a fan video
Just a warning, Japan is very strict with their content's copyright. They prohibit any forms of reproduction of their contents and there are already a lot of cases where the copyright's owner strike videos on YT because it violates their rights.

It's on Official Bilibili Asia with Eng subtitle (for free). You'll need to VPN to Asia (mine works on Thailand,…
It works with Indonesian VPN. Not sure if the subs is the best, but it's ok since the story itself is pretty simple.

The subbers are volunteers so it is natural. It would be great if they could pay the subbers, but I don't think…
This is the weirdest business model. They charge people for subscription but can't even provide basic service. Not to mention they benefit financially from the subbers who provide free subs. I have long cancelled my subscription, not sure if I wanna support this kind of business model.

First 2 eps are surprisingly enjoyable. It's clearly a low budget production, but the cinematography, settings and music are so far acceptable. I love Yeong-woo, he is such a nice and sweet boy and the actor plays it very naturally.
