I think the bento Kurosawa makes in OP is the one that is given to Adachi in this ep. And the message on the rice "Believe yourself", I think it's the ultimate message to Adachi in this drama, just believe yourself and even without the magic, you would definitely be fine!

Adachi was afraid of losing his power since without it he doesn't know how to handle his relationship well with Kurosawa. He said that he doesn't have the right to be with Kurosawa in this way and doesn't know what to do. I think that prompts Kurosawa to propose break up since he sees Adachi was so troubled and sad about it. Haizzzz...screenwriter, how dare you torture us and them??
