You know what... When you asked that, I was like... Oh, good question lol. I drew a blank. I don't know why I even said that. I looked at my ratings list after that and I guess I felt really strongly about Accidental Couple (aka That Fool), and Jewel In The Palace. Then, Boys Over Flowers and My Golden Life as well... But Maybe I should revise my statement and say Wang's Family is #1.
Beautiful drama. Wonderfully different. I only learned after finishing it that it was a remake of a Japanese drama from 1995. Anyway, I loved this. They didn't have to go on that little detour the way they did for the end, but it was a satisfying ending and in this case, the end justified the means.
Quite good! They really developed a lot of backstory with the characters. Then the story really bloomed just a few episodes before the end. 12 episodes was perfect for this story. The cinematography was slick and nice, the music was great, and the melodrama was a perfect amount. Lee Young-ae was fantastic, the male lead was great too. Recommended.
It was a cute show, Lee Dahae was funny and she's a good actress. The story kinda drew out slowly, not too much stuff was happening, but the humour carried the show and kept my interest. However the ending, or rather what led up to the end was one of the stupidest things I've ever seen in a drama and it made me stop watching 2 episodes before the end lol.
Yeah. At least I remember it having one, lol. It's been so many years. I think I would've remembered if it had a sad ending. I just remember how great the show was.
Okay. I loved this drama, and I loved Suzy in it. She's always gorgeous. But I hated the ending and the way they lead up to it. However, I still loved this drama. Go figure. Hehe. I mean, they really pissed me off with the ending. I'm seeing more and more dramas without endings that I'm pleased with, haha.
An unusual story, but well told. Choi Jioo really plays her role well. She makes it look easy. I enjoyed this drama and I think it'll give you some emotional satisfaction if you're looking for something deep but out of the ordinary.
Ahhhhh!!! What a nice drama! They pack so much story into this one, it's very entertaining and charming. Han Ji Min did great in it, and Lee Min Ki was great as well.
If you don't mind my asking, what about it was the thing(s) that made it terrible for you?
Simply the way they chose to end it. Aside from the fact that I dislike the whole "multiple season" concept when it comes to kdramas, this show could've ended beautifully if they made different choices.
It's amazing what a smile can do!
