This is why I'm waiting of Flower of Evil to finish airing lol and I agree, seeing how a drama end up being terrible just discourages you from watching dramas for a while :/

Oh boi we've had a fair share of highly anticipated dramas that have ended up falling flat and it's part of the reason why I now try not to watch airing dramas! Although, maybe one of the pros of waiting for it to finish airing is that, if you see most people saying the ending is disappointing, you can discard it from your plan to watch list immediately hehe

Sometimes when I start watching a highly rated drama I go in with the highest expectations and then I end up being disappointed :/ And what you said is exactly the reason I don't tend to say anything in the comment section of a drama,,,I get scared by what the reactions might be especially for a super popular drama!

I feel you x100! When Flower of Evil was announced I really didn't know if I could resist. But I made a promise to myself and I'm suffering until all the episodes air! And from what I'm seeing, it's really highly rated so it makes waiting even less enjoyable aaaaah!

Love this article! Really represents what I have been feeling these days when people comment about the age gap being "too much". As long as their behaviour is appropriate and they match each other it's no problem for me (unless the actors involved look way old/young in comparison).

You should definitely give it a try! I had the same feeling as you after finishing 1994 but 1988 gives you a completely different feeling! Trust me, you won't be disappointed ^^
