Ashes of love because I love the complexity of the characters, they developed without it being caricatural. Also because I'm a masochist I love when it starts all fluffy and go downhill. Legend Of Fuyao would have been here as a favorite too if the second part was not as good as the first, I loved how the leads worked with e/o and Wuji is still one of my favorite c-drama male lead ever. Special mention for LBFAD too

I couldn’t get connected to the characters emotions and attached to the characters in TTEOTM. I just didn’t understand how LSS fell in love just by having pity for TTJ all along. The plot was just going round and round and became predictable. Because of this the tower scene and the ending just felt underwhelming overall. However contrarily to a lot of people who didn’t like this arc I loved the dream arc. Truly liked how Sang Jiu, this little innocent thing was pushed to become evil, she was the only character I fell connected with and I fell terrible for what happened to her family. The mirror scene was also beautiful. But the rest of the drama … yeah just not for my tastes

I also think it’s simply because it’s not supposed to be a heavily angsty drama. Personally despite watching every spoilers I still feel deeply connected to the characters emotions and it is because we get to see so many facets of them, it’s rare to watch characters as well rounded, and because of this, it makes us deeply attached and we feel their sadness 100% stronger than characters whose only purpose are to be in love and sad. Even If it’s for a nanosecond I hate watching them suffer because I love them too much
I agree + TY tells her " Before this I didn't know about your feelings for me " he thought she would be better off without him or any parts of him. He had PTSD it's normal that even after all they've been through it's normal that they both needed to get reassured and confirm e/o feelings.
I was bawling during the life and death scene but the explanations and understand why did what he did were like a dagger through my heart, it was incredibly touching, he just loves her so much, he is such a green flag it is a breath of fresh air to have a character like this.
I agree BXS had a better grasp on the situation and he did what was right. It is hard to see what is the best or not when stuck in this situation. Also he wanted to be seen as better than TY but he never wanted YH's heart to be broken, after shadow play when TY rejected YH love confession he stated that he felt unhappy about her being unhappy. The last two episodes were a turning point for his character and his character developpement really puts him in a higher place in my heart.

No he didn’t got a hold on it, when he shot that arrow he aimed at TY and YH hearts, basically pushed the heart scale out of TY body for it to enter YH’s body
