this is such a good drama with real events and experience from an actual profiler in korea, i wonder what's with…
They're bots including the supporters who upvote their reviews. Just check their accounts, those three users who give extremely bad reviews almost have same patterns. There's no way such irrational reviews get high upvotes in a short time especially this is a new drama with good ratings and reviews from many users. This is the first time I've seen that happen on MDL. I don't know what's the motive of doing that.
It did well in ratings and Recieved praise from Knets but the comments here says otherwise :sIs it worth watching?
It's really worth it if you like Mindhunter vibe. For bad reviews on MDL, I guess they don't know it's based on true events and it's about the journey of the first profiler in South Korea, so they expect something like unrealistic typical crime thriller they used to watch. Glad, it gets rave reviews in SK and good ratings eventhough it's a psychological crime thriller drama.
I only watched this drama for Kim Nam Gil as well, but I love his character in this drama than any his comedic performances (I love him in "The Fiery Priest" though). I especially love the way he interrogated the criminals.
That is your opinion, to me he looks 200% even more attractive with moustache!
Yeah, for some people he looks hotter with it. But for general taste, it's better if he doesn't have it. I found some people complaining and was hesitant to watch his work just because of the picture of him with it.
But I think this picture is better than previous one, besides he doesn't have mustache now in his latest performances.…
I love him in "Through The Darkness", I don't mind with his hair style, his side bangs is still my weakness, eventhough I like him better in formal fit and neat hair like his transformation after that disheveled look. And most importantly, I love his character there. I always find serious/cold or badass character is very attractive. I personally dont like ML with a goofy character, the only character that I ever loved with a goofy character is Kim Nam Gil as Bidam in "Queen Seondeok", although at first I found his character was kinda freak, but he is so badass and cold at the same time there. And his acting range is no joke, he can change his goofy expression to serious one drastically just through his eyes, that's the first time I fall in love with an actor, not just a mere crush. That's why he's the only actor that still leave great impression to me till now. Glad, I find drama "Queen Seondeok" back then, it's a masterpiece with great story and casts. I love his latest dramas as well like "The Fiery Priest" and "Through The Darkness". I find my preferences are similar to korean, because when there are polls about him there, the most popular votes turn out my preferences as well. Or maybe my taste is just too mainstream.
I must be the only one who doesn't like this picture much... he looks really tired and puffy-eyed/cheeked, and…
But I think this picture is better than previous one, besides he doesn't have mustache now in his latest performances. I prefer him without mustache and hair style with side bangs, though. Honestly, I'm the type of person who looks at the visual and character first before deciding to watch or read something. And his appearance with mustache and hair style in some of his works makes me still hesitant to watch them lol (except for drama "Bad Guy", because I like his hairstyle and his cold character, he's really hot there). But I agree, he's so expressive with his eyes and facial expression even in cold character, that's what make me deeply fall in love with him until now despite so many handsome actors out there. I fall in love with him since 11 years ago in drama "Queen Seondeok", he is so perfect for portraying Bidam. And eventhough he's getting older now, his charm doesn't fade away (ahjussi isn't my taste actually but he's an exception).
