Yeah, I don't think they were expecting it would turn out like this when they cast the actors. I'm sorry for the guy she ends up with, but I really can't wrap my mind around it. Better to drop it early than being a frustrated mess like me 😭 Many of us are now watching all of his other shows 'cause he's too good. We just can't get enough ♥️

I completely agree! All this "but in the novel..." is a bit tiring. One should not need to read the book to be able to follow the movie/show it's based on. If the screen version is not enough to transmit the message to the viewer, than it's doing a bad job. And so far the way he's bringing the character to life has probably surprised even the producers/director etc.
