There’s a reason why he’s so beloved by the audience, by the author herself, and he’s the FL’s ultimate soulmate. And no, it’s not because we are all insane and masochists. This is not a simple story, it wasn’t written as such, and none of the relationships can be considered healthy, most certainly not the one XY has with Jing.

You’re welcome! Oh, yikes, yeah, they changed some things to make it seem to the audience that XY only loves Jing. It sort of backfired because her chemistry with him is pure cringe but when she’s with Xiang Liu, the screen explodes.
We may have some changes in s2 as well, but if the leaked script is to be believed, we will have to grab our pitchforks. It’s hard to be a Xiang Liu stan 😩

Not gonna lie, I don’t mind Jing being the chosen one because XY became quite pitiful at the end. But Xiang Liu dying is still awful. I wish there was a way for him to remain alive or be resurrected later on 🤧
