I watched ep 11 and I already knew what happened in the middle. That’s how much they needed to cut away.

It’s such a pity. I watched ep 1-4 and 11-12. This series could have benefited from reducing the episodes. I think 8 episodes are enough. 12 ep is a mistake, so much unnecessary nonsense. Dmd should start learning from other companies. Other companies started making 6 ep, and 8 ep series.
