BL Fans usually don’t like GL.

I used to love Hua yong. Coz his scheming tactics are amusing. But this ep, his stalkerish behaviour is so pathetic and uncool. And then he is so petty towards Shen wen lang. get a grip, Hua yong!

Ep 10 is the most episode though. It's a philosophical discussion on the loneliness epidemic in Japan.

Is this worth watching? I watched 2 eps and felt so bored. Are subsequent episodes better?

WAIT. The grandpa didn't betray him! I already said, you weren't listening. The grandpa RETURNED the body, and the grandpa's intention was to let Hai Yuan to be with Ze fang. Because Ze Fang soul saw the role model of how Grandpa behaved, Ze Fang soul saw what he needed to do! That's why he gave up his body to grandpa. Secondly, I am not sure if Ze Fang really loved hai yuan if he tried to grape him. That scene was really traumatising, I wanted to give up the series because of that scene.

1. hai yuan is the lead so you know he has to have a happy ending. 2. There's no one suitable for ri qing. And remember, he's also the bad guy? Bad guys don't get good endings, good guys do; that's the law of ALL drama series. if you insert a random character to pair with Ri Qing, people (like you? ;p ) will complain the ending is too neat. There's no good way to end it but out of the two endings, the better ending is to let hai yuan have his happy ending.

then where's ze fang's selfless act to redeem himself? His sacrifice is his redemption. And then Hai Hai Yuan, who is the main lead, won't get his happy ending. That's even a worse ending.

maybe with a reincarnation of Ze fang? But that would be an age gap issue.

2. Fair point but... if you watch a few BL, you'd already know that fans don't watch BL for the acting. Many actors in BL are new and inexperienced. Be generous and kind and give them a chance gain some experience. Acting is like any job, experience matters. Very few actors started off great.

Yup, I agree with you. if writers are so concerned about their work, they can negotiated with the publishers to retain the copyrights. But no, the publishers have the copyright, and when they sold it to Change2561, Change2561 has the right to do whatever it wants. Ghorl is like selling a house to new owners, and now the owners are renovating the place, she goes on a rampage to protest.

How dare they treat my Jade like that? Also: it was kinda moving to see Jade (a servant) on the bed while the lords stood by him. It's a reversal of master-servant roles. I teared a bit. Prince is a good person.

actually i realise they did show ze fang as a bad guy. He tried to grape Ye Hai Yuan in the first ep.

I blame it on the bad storytelling. They need to establish in ep 1 that the grandson is a really bad person, so that in the last ep, when he gives up his body to the grandpa, that's his one selfless act to redeem himself. But yeah, you should imagine he's a very bad person.

yeah, the series should have established in ep 1 that grandson is a bad person. That's bad storytelling. They just let us imagine that he's bad. But still you should imagine he's a horrible person and now he's trying to make up for his mistake.
