I wish there is some continuity. First night, it’s Hogwarts Harry Potter night. Then subsequent nights, khem could go wander about in the nights?! That doesn’t make sense. Why didn’t the ghosts go all out on second night, third night, fourth night, etc
Also: if ghosts can possess humans, why not just send a few possessed humans to kill khem in the day? They don’t need to wait until night. Also: where do ghosts go in the day? It’s not like they are vampires sleeping in coffins
So, Khem and Peem were lovers in their past lives and Khem was a woman in that life? I hope those are different…
I had the same thought. This, century of love, the sign. Past life, they were women. It’s very irritating to see that a gay man is actually a woman soul in a male body.

That’s not plot. That’s setting. Taxi driver (Korean movie) is about a group of students fighting for freedom in Gwangju uprising - that’s setting. Plot: an apathetic taxi Driver exposes Govt coverup during the Gwangju uprising. Now that’s a plot. How did he turn from being apathetic to caring? How did he help to expose the coverup?

Now this IS a plot, you finally get it: “ The story takes place between 1969-1971 as an economist, free-spirited hippie, a closeted journalist and colonel, and a poor student try to pursue freedom because they live in times of oppression, so this is a story of their journey.”
Now think further. Have they flashed out the aim of the characters well? Is it a good plot? Has it shown in 2 long ep how they are going to achieve freedom? What kind of freedom are they trying to achieve? Is the story original or have there been countless of stories like that? Is it too much to explore? Is the storytelling clear? Is it a good plot in however you define good?

I’m a film professor by the way. I also won national awards for writing stories. Shine is just not good storytelling but fans are so blind. I’m blind too, I’m going to watch ep 3, but at least i recognise it’s not good storytelling

That’s not a plot! That has no story at all. A plot needs a story. Example: “It takes place in 1960s New York” = no plot!! It’s a description. Plot: It takes place in 1960s New York as 3 women robbed banks because they can’t find jobs and how they try to get away.” That’s a plot.
