I totally agree with you! Especially with the remark. I think she can only hear that someone is not speaking 'their'…
I think this story is less about whether KDH is a liar and more about KDH and MSH breaking free from the boundaries they have set for themselves. As for KDH, we have only seen a fraction of what happened to him, as there are 8 more episodes left. But from what we have already seen, he was a normal teenager who liked a girl. Something happened, and he wanted to break up. But the girl was way too obsessed and clingy with him. Like, who throws away the car keys to the sea? And not only her, but her brother is also a psycho. Taking revenge and killing someone is a totally different thing. I am only guessing, but I think KDH stopped loving her a long time ago. He stayed with her because she made him. And the last time he broke up with her, she did what we saw. KDH already had trauma from his dad's death. This could be one of the reasons for the breakup. Maybe he found out how much his girlfriend was obsessed with him and wanted to be free. Now that he is in headlines, we saw what happened to him. He even got stabbed. Plus, his mom wants to hide him for her political career. Everything made him the person we saw today. The only time we saw him being normal is when he watched the match on tv. And with MSH, he can remove his mask without having to worry. She is the only person apart from the ceo friend and Sayon to treat him like a normal person ( I mean they are the only ones he talks to). Can we even imagine how much he has suffered to hide like this for years?
As for MSH, she relies too much on her ability. So she can't trust anyone. And it's true that her not hearing any bell while talking to KDH is the reason she became interested in him. But in the recent episode, we can see she is torn between what she is hearing and what she wants to believe. I guess she will try to believe KDH and help him find out the truth. And I think her ex is also related to it. Maybe he knows something. The girl's brother and the CEO's brother are both shady. And as for MSH and her ex, I said in a comment before that their relationship wasn't that good even before he got diagnosed. If it was, who would break up over some lies after engagement? They wouldn't make it in that condition.
As for MSH's ability, it's a curse in disguise. It has prevented her from believing anyone, even her parents. But for the first time, she is trying to believe someone. Remember, KDH was the first person to whom she said the truth herself. The ex came later. So she definitely likes KDH more than she ever liked her ex. She never told him the truth the entire time they were together. Still 8 ep left. Let's see how much of my prediction comes true.
I don't know why, I have a soft corner for Ray. And I don't consider his character a red flag. He asked Sand if he wasn't okay with it. I think Mew knows Ray still likes him, but as he doesn't like him back he wants him to move on to someone else. However, I don't think it is a good idea to be friends with anyone who has feelings for you. We saw that his(R) priority is still Mew, and will be until he gets over him. Till then, I wish Ray would just keep his distance with Mew. Mew, I think, is a hidden sheep. He looks innocent, but in reality he is a manipulative person. I really didn't expect Top to cheat. Boston is hopeless. I hope Nick can get out of his hand quickly, and do some damage in the meantime. And Sand.. I like his character. But he already likes Ray but won't tell him. And when he will, it will be a huge issue. I just hope they resolve it quickly. Sand-Ray is the only couple I want as an endgame.

I don't think her relationship with her ex was that good. Her ex liked her more than she did. If she liked him truly, like she does with Kim Do Haa, then despite knowing he was lying, she would try to find out why he is lying instead of breaking up over it. Even when they met now, she was only surprised, like when you meet your ex, but not one you are still in love with. She has been over her ex for some time and already likes Kim Do Haa. So even after knowing the reason her ex was being that way, she still only thinks about KDH. We will feel bad about the ex, but he lost his chance when he let her go that easily. As for killing, when a person commits suicide giving you as the reason, doesn't that count as killing? I guess this is why KDH thinks he killed her, be it indirectly.
My thoughts after 8 episodes: Kim Do ha has really bad luck with woman. Mom, selfish. First girlfriend, clingy and psycho. Probably committed suicide or is in hiding. The girl who likes him is a stalker and delusional. And the one he likes can detect lies. I mean, I couldn't date someone who could hear lies. As for Mok Sol-Hee, I like her character. She doesn't keep anything to herself to create misunderstandings. But she relies too much on her power. She broke up with her ex because of her power. He didn't want to break up. But maybe he needed some more time to tell her. She didn't give him that. This is one show where even the second male lead is a green flag, and I really like him as well. But I wish he had told her the truth. At least he wasn't the one to break up; if he were the one to "sacrifice", then I would hate him. Mok Sol Hee has to overcome her reliance on her power and trust people based on her instincts and feelings, which she is already doing. We are only halfway done. Let's wait and watch what happens next. For now, really enjoying it.
Also, I don't think Mok Sol-Hee can detect lies. She can only detect them if the other person thinks they are lying. Totally different things.
You know what would be a twist? Top not being the playboy everyone thinks he is? They've done nothing to show…
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. We saw nothing that suggests Top is pretending to be anything he is not. And Mew knows what he is getting himself into. When Boston came onto Top, he didn't look that enthusiastic, given that he and Mew aren't officially dating yet. He is already being so vulnerable with Mew. I think he will actually fall in love with Mew, and their fight will be due to some misunderstanding instead of Top cheating; that would be too boring. And Mew seems like a complex character. It's always the innocent one with the weirdest character. As for Boston, he is our plain and simple "playboy". He will never be satisfied with anyone. He wants Top because Mew is interested in him. He is the one to introduce them. And after watching next episodes preview, I won't be surprised if he comes onto Sand as well. As for Sand-Ray, Ray is using Sand to get over Mew, but Sand is already falling for him. Ray, please don't hurt Sand too much. My only wish is SandRay endgame. I do not care about other two couples tbh.
My dream is that Mew dumps Top and Ton. I'm still carrying the baggage of Oh not dumping Teh in IPYTM. just kidding/not…
As you said that, I really thought it was out of character for Teh to cheat on Oh. I mean, he gave his place in the uni for him that's how much Oh means to him. But to cheat on him so easily... I just could not buy it. I thought the writing of IPYTM was bad, they could have given any other reason for the breakup than cheating ( long distance, family problem, health issue, even miscommunication is fine but not this). After that I could not be happy when Oh took back Teh. Cheating is something I can't forgive. So to me ITSAY has only one season. Sorry for the ranting. I was wanting to say this to someone for long but nobody I know watched it so dumped it all here.
This is giving me harem vibe. Everybody likes LJ, he likes everyone. And two dude who like LJ like each other as well. What is even happening? And the one with fiance, first become single then flirt. Don't make someone a cheater even if your engagement is fake( I'm talking to you too lom)
Honestly, not that bad. It’s definitely really slow paced and I can’t lie, I was pretty confused at first…
Exactly. He changed his personality so quickly that I became confused about what exactly happened. At first, I thought it was for the bully coworker, then about his crush. But he is like that with his other friend in ep 2 as well. Weird.
