My problem isn't normalizing showing toxic parents, my problem is normalizing accepting it. In the end shouldn't they show that they are toxic and they should rectify their behavior? In the end xun ans father didn't even say sorry. And we are supposed to believe he accepted bai lang happily? Even a normal homophobic asian parent would never, no matter how cool they become.
If they show realistic, make it realistic. Don't need to make it happy ending by force, bai lang would be better off without his acceptence. And if his mom is a doormat. If you can't talk to your husband about protecting your child, you don't have the right to be called a mom(in my opinion).

what is with taiwanese shows and them normalizing toxic parents? Like, Xun An is a full adult, he is free to like whom he wants. And even if he wants his family to like them, they have no right to punish him. He will never ever accept bai lang if he behaves this way with xun an . And why didn't his mom or anybody say anything! Even in About Youth, they normalised ye guangs parrnts attitude towards him. They were not good to him at all. They even hit him. And we are supposed to ignore it? I just can't handle these stuffs....

Don't forget soo ho is the only person shi eun smiled and cried for. I know this show showed romantic involvement only in subtext, but it was quite clear to us. And I think it was mutual between shi eun and soo ho. It was in the way they looked at each other. They both will kill and be killed for each other. I cried for an hour after ep 7 as I thought he was dead. In the end, as he is still alive, I am really excited about how they will bring him back. After coming back from a coma, he must have had so many side effects. I want to see how they handle that. Also, I wouldn't mind if beom seok's abusive adoptive father actually kills him after sending him abroad. No matter how tragic his life is, I can't forgive him ever.

I don't understand what this muyoung dude wants. He likes him, but won't tell him. But wants him to like him. Wants to quit job, shows that he is uncomfortable working with somebody who has feelings for him when he has a boyfriend. But wants him to stop him. Like,make up your mind dude. I don't care about your tragic past. Either give up, or tell him you are interested.
On the other hand, the author is really good. Once he understood he likes muyoung, he took some time but accepted it. And told him face to face that he likes him. I love how he said it even after seeing that he has a boyfriend. I prefer confession rather than secret love for years. And I like how he respected his wish to quit his job. Why should he plead him to keep the job? He didn't tell you to quit man. I think the author is the most sensible person here.
This is the reason the author willl get muyoung , not his high-school friend. If the friend had confessed his feelings once, I'm sure muyoung would give it a try. Maybe they could even work. But he lost his chance. He could have said it even after the unwanted kiss, but no. So I also wouldn't want him to be with muyoung.Also, his fiance should dump him. Anybody deserves better.

As for PD lee, I know this is supposed to be funny. But in real life, her behavior can be deemed as sexual harassment. And if the gender were reversed, it wouldn't even look funny.

Those two are completely different type of story. CB is about taysoung who was secretly in love with haebom but could not confess. Once he tells him, there was no going back for him. The manhwa is 4 chapters full of fluff. If I hadn't read the manhwa beforehand, I would have dropped the series because they could not capture the true emotion of the story.

And actually , in future they also show taysung and haebom in college, even in working life. These both are different in story, both both are good nonetheless. If you ever get time, check out the manhwa. Its so cute!!!

Is Ja cheating on his boyfriend from UWMA with first from RM?!

I purposely put off watching the last episode cause I knew it was going to break my heart. And it did, in less than ten minutes. I ugly cried watching the whole episode. Seeing them together felt like a violation of privacy. The way they both look at each other.....man. Both of them are excellent actors.
I wanted a happy ending, but it is perfect as it is. I actually disagree with Mitchan, There can be 2 number one, but it depends on the person. If you want your number one to be only one person, then it's your choice. But it is possible to love two people. Otherwise, people won't get married after a divorce or the passing of their significant other.
I want a parallel-universe drama where they graduate school, and start living together in their varsity life. I will be content if they show us them only breathing. I just want them to be happy and together. And there will be no drama cause both of their family or friends won't care they are both guys. It will be refreshing to see two people completely in love with each other. I love watching them so much.

These two deserved a better script. They have the potential and chemistry. But truly the story doesn't make any sense.

This show has one of the best castings. Like, I wouldn't know any context and still will be able to say they are a dog and a cat.

Yes, I also agree that it was not a good time for that conversation. If this was any other show, I would also say peak was self-centered to have done that in that time. But I think the writer included this scene here because they wanted hom to have somebody with her during that tough time. I think the point was to show that peak will be there beside her in the tough time like cake is with ewe. This is purely my observation. I think it depends on individual people what they want in these types of situation. Some wants to be alone, some wants to be with family, some want somebody else with whom they can share everything without being a burden to the family. This is what understood for including that scene. But I also agree that I hope they would include the scene earlier or in the last episode. It ruined the overall effect of that episode.
And I'm so sorry you had to go through such a situation.
