I agree with you about Joseph. He's an actor who's been around for quite some time and I know him, but haven't watched many of his dramas. Romance In The Farm was the first drama I watched and his acting was good, but still not enough. Only then did I watch him from FEUD and I notice his incredible handsome😌✨ And the way he executed his character in feud was also good. That's why I can expect him in Veil of Shadows.
Totally agree with you! Veil of Shadows really feels like GJM finally hit that sweet spot—still visually stunning and artistic, but way more engaging and less dragged out. The pacing, especially the layered characters.
And the cast absolutely carried. Yan’an, Rui, Chen Duling, Ju Jingyi, everyone just owned their roles. their double double roles?? Insane execution. Well, even though I was confused several times😂 but I like how Jiarui plays Ji Ling and dragon deity with totally different.
I know this drama is good, but can we get a proper review? Look at how you write.. full of capital letters with repetition like that, shouldn't it go to comments, not reviews?
Ep12 seeing Qiaoxi let out his heartache really broke my heart💔 I know there will be more heartbreaking scenes in the future, but I'm enjoying this drama. In fact, zlh and zjm's acting is really good here. This drama deserves at least an 8 rating, not be less
Personally, no, I would not. Starting your c-drama journey with Pursuit of Jade would be setting the bar too high…
