My first impression of Gong Myung was the absolute worst thanks to his crappy character in Revolutionary Love (a terrible watch in itself). In this drama though... Wow, he is a different person!!! The playful guy role suits him much, much, MUCH better! It's as if he's a different person altogether. I hope he never plays a nasty character like the one in Revolutionary Love again *cringe*.

And also I discovered the gem that is Baek Jin Hee! I hope her character continues to be as fierce as she was at the beginning... Female leads that start out nicely like that almost ALWAYS tone down their fierceness halfway through the drama, so I hope (in vain) that's not the same for her character. T.T

What I really find exaggerated and incredible is how Na Wang Shik survives that bullet to the head. I mean, I'm no medical expert, but isn't it too much and on top of that that he's still alive with the bullet still lodged in his head?

Also, I still don't get whether he did have it removed as listed in the medical records at the end of episode 3, or whether those were just the fake medical records of Chun Woo Bin.

Exactly! I find SHS a much better actress than LJS; LJS always looks and acts the same in every drama I've watched…
Ah, finally, someone who thinks the same as me, LOL. And yes, it's become really boring of him to act the same in every drama he acts in (the only reason I watch his works is because he has a knack at picking really good dramas). It's like eating bland, flavorless soup every day, nothing to look forward to and unexciting.

Exactly! I find SHS a much better actress than LJS; LJS always looks and acts the same in every drama I've watched for him, no matter his role, which is why he's a flat, inflexible actor in my opinion.

People should always expect the first few episodes to be weird, rushed or a mess. That's because they tried to…
Wait, what? Min Yu Ra and Na Wang Shik are husband and wife? From today's episode, it's clear that the little boy isn't Wang Shik's son since he calls him "hyung", but I also thought that he was only in love with Yu Ra and not her husband...

I admit that I hated the first episode so much, but it was interesting enough to keep me going till the third one, and I have to say--it's unfolding AMAZINGLY, and the drama's premise is more than promising!!!

Sure, there are a few nuisances within the story (the cringe-worthy "charm" the Emperor pulls off to fool Sunny into marriage, for one *barf*), but it sure as heck is something else!!! A modern-day Imperial Korea? That's just superb (and a first for me), and if they're able to carry this out excellently till the end, this drama will definitely be a hit!!

Hmmmmmmmmmm.
I have a feeling I'll be dropping this one soon, but I don't mind being disappointed.
Can't really get over how childish and young KYJ looks for her character; not to mention, she's just too flawless for the "disheveled, clumsy girl" role. Looks too out of place for it. Could do better for the pretty high school/college/idol group girl role.

So far I've counted 5 of Christie's murder mysteries acted out, with a clever little reference to Bertram's Hotel…
I understand 100% why you find Christie's works to be comfort reads--the charm of her writing style, as well as of the witty characters who are usually so prim and well behaved and the olden times during which her books were written, always enraptures me! I love her very much too.

Yeah, the fact that the drama doesn't stick to the plots (at least of the only book I know, LOL) and has its own twists and turns makes it very interesting. Not to mention, the sound effects definitely give off Christie-style mystery vibes, and the setting of Rainbow Village, even though not that much reminiscent of the South Korea we're used to seeing in most other dramas, is very fitting for the Christie Mystery LOL.

I just hope that the mysteries covered in this drama have not spoiled Christie's works for me if i do read them in the near future. I'll probably focus on Poirot's books for now (currently reading The Mystery of the Blue Train!!) and will go back for Miss Marple's after some time has passed and I've forgotten a bit about this drama, LOL.

WOW! You're an avid reader of Christie's works! I've only read a few of her works (though because of this drama, I've been sweeping up the mystery shelves of the public library near me of all of her available works there, LOL), so I was only able to recognize the At Bertram's Hotel little reference (much less impressive than you XD). And now that I re-read Nemesis (which, as it is, I've COMPLETELY forgotten the details of so I couldn't even remember the ending, though I was able to guess the murderer), I can better make the connection between the drama's story line and the book's plot.

I loved this drama but the kids were extremely bratty in the beginning. never encountered such horrid children…
LOL, lucky you! My eight-year-old sister is just as bratty as those kids, so they only kept reminding me of her XD

Even though it’s somewhat predictable, every revelation still has unexpected twists to it, and the atmosphere of the drama and the plot development manage to keep you hooked and on your toes for the coming episode. And the sound effects, set, and cinematography definitely give off Agatha Christie vibes!! Great so far. Compelled me to re-read Christie’s Nemsis since I can’t recall the story from when I first read it about five years ago.

No royal wedding?! Hope they'll show it in the special epilogue.
What? What special epilogue????
On 100 Days My Prince Nov 12, 2018
For me, I greatly enjoyed this drama! Even though I admit it’s mainly because it was very satisfying to watch (unlike most of the historical dramas with blood-boiling plots and tragic endings *AHEM* Six Flying Dragons, Queen for Seven Days, and freakin’ Mr. Sunhsine *AHEM*), its fictional plot still managed to keep me on edge. Overall, I believe it was well balanced in terms of both the romance and the politics, though as several other commenters pointed out, the ending could have been just a little better (not that I’m complaining!!). Still much, MUCH better than I could’ve hoped for from a historical drama, LOL! And such lovely characters and cast, both leads and supporting!!!

Whaaaaaat 27??? Wow, she carries out her role in Terius Behind Me so well as a mother of two kindergartners, I can't even begin to imagine her as anything less than 33!!! Usually, Korean actresses (and all Asians to be honest, in my opinion) are well known for looking much younger than they are, but this is the first time I feel the exact opposite looking at a Korean actress.

Oh yeaaaah. That's why I avoid reading the plot summaries of dramas as much as possible.

Even though I love Go Ae Rin and Kim Bon, it's hard for me to visualize them together. I feel like there's something wrong with that, LOL. Maybe it's the height difference? XD
Still won't mind if there's romance as long as it's properly carried out.
So Ji Sub, as always, is doing a fine job making his character so darn attractive. :3

Choi Seok Han is a very impressive character, and a very intriguing one too. I find it interesting that he still cares about the well being of Yoon Soo Yeon as a patient, even though personally he struggles not to openly hate her. Though it does get confusing where he draws the line between those two feelings.

This drama is very underrated... Really enjoyed watching it back when it was airing and was actually disappointed it ended. I enjoy watching any drama that handles political corruption, and this was definitely one of the best in this genre.

Loved the trio in this drama!!! They had such great chemistry in all of their scenes, especially the tough exorcism ones, despite the lack of direct professions of appreciation toward one another. Will miss them so much.
