This looks interesting, but I really don't like how they always slap a moustache on a guy to make him look older…
The moustache actually isn't to make him look older. It's his look-alike. I think they did that to help differentiate the two versions of Yuki Furukawa in the movie.
His girlfriend left him suddenly 100 days ago and told him not to look for her but also told him there's a woman that looks just like her in Hokkaido so he goes looking for his girlfriend's look-alike. He meets her look-alike at Hokkaido and she's shocked because he looks like her ex-boyfriend who died 2 years ago (the Yuki Furukawa with a moustache) who used to be a magician.
That's what I gathered from the trailer anyway. It seems like a really interesting and unique story.
Finally got around to watching this and I was completely blown away! Initially I was skeptical with how well Ikuta Toma would be able to play a transgender woman, but wow did he amaze me! He really committed to the role.
I wonder how this is going to be related to the other two in the My Dear Loser series... I guess these characters get introduced in Pong's story, Monster Romance?
This turned out so much better than I thought it would. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy Oh and Peach's romance but they both won me over in the end. I enjoyed this drama so much and can't wait for the next in the series, Monster Romance!
Umm... WOW! This is going to be a huge challenge for Ikuta Toma but I'm so glad more movies like this are happening…
Not of a transgender character as far as I know, but there are a few with lesbian and gay characters. I meant that I'm glad Japan was becoming more progressive and showing more movies about other individuals in the LGBT spectrum as they tend to focus on just the G and L.
