I would recommend just watching S1 and then moving on. Personally felt that S2 itself doesn't understand the crux of WHC. It reduces the story to a very average korean highschool bully-victim revenge story and forgets all of the special characteristics WHC S1 has.

The writing took a nosedive after episode 14. Very conflicted because I love and hate this drama bc of Ep 15. Still, nothing can change the fact that the writer created some amazing characters to root for and the show unexpectedly has one of the best kiss scenes.

Netflix didn't talk about Love Next Door in their 2024 line up video but its still going to release on Aug 17th this year. And I think you're talking about when life gives you tangerines.. that's also a 2025 release
