in the webtoon, tae-sung is sae-bit's high school crush/schoolmate and vice versa They both like each other but it never blooms when they're still in highschool because neither of them gets to confess (when they're still in their adolescence), but it turns out that they still have feelings for each other when Tae-sung also come to saebit high school to teach.
I think Tee is in the wrong too, but it's the toxic fans that made him who he is. It's the consumers who are entitled just because they spend money for the product (who are essentially people). It's like they don't know the fact that they have their own lives outside of the show/project. Shipping is harmless, but it's goes too far when hate is involved with the actors' love lives behind the scenes.
Character, he's so vibrant behind the scenes of this drama lol.
That's fair. I agree to a degree with you. I'm enjoying the series overall, but I guess I don't completely enjoy the direction that they decided to take with TK. If you are Korean, you could tell that his emphasis of tone on some words are very odd. If you're not, I don't blame anyone that thinks his acting OK.
It’s not “his acting”, his character is supposed to be like that, kinda “robotic” as you said. It’s…
I disagree. This type of character isn't new in Kdramas and I've seen better portrayals where I didn't need to question it. I can see that he is trying his best as it's his first main role, so I definitely commend him. I'm sure he could do better in future projects when/if he gets the chance.

Well, if you're more comfortable being yourself, of course you'd be more vibrant. There's so many people that act stiff when they're trying to act someone who's not themselves.
I like TK as a character, but I don't entirely enjoy Sae-On's performance. As a Korean, I can tell that his speech is pretty awkward. I'm not sure if this was a character choice or if it was his acting, but I personally don't enjoy it. Am I the only one who thinks his acting is kind of wooden/robotic?
From the looks of things, it seems that TK and DaOn will end up together. While I prefer ShinWoo, I'm not sure he has the leverage at this point in the game to really move TK to like him back. Or it can also be that TK doesn't end up with anyone, and that the first scene of "my first love" just indicates that they're all just friends up to this day and that his first love (while not successful) just happens to be one of them.
I get the hate for SoHee and it's somewhat understandable, but, based on her characteristics, I get why she would feel like she needs to attack. She feels threatened by the only person that makes the man that she loves change in a way that she is unfamiliar. I'm not saying what she is doing isn't unhealthy because loving someone for 3 years without reciprocation must be mentally exhausting, and also the way she treats people around her is rude and disrespectful due to her liking DaOn.
However, she's just an imperfect character like any others in the series: - TaeKyung got better, but before he was a recluse that was indifferent towards everyone around him which actually pissed off some of his peers due to probable misunderstandings -DaOn's personality to please everyone (most likely stemming from his parents) makes people misunderstand him to the point that some people do end up disliking him -ShinWoo's tsundere personality is exhausting because you can't tell what he's feeling unless he begrudgingly tells you otherwise
I'll be honest, I don't know if I would personally hangout with any of these characters (except for maybe ShiWoon; he's just a very supportive friend) if I was a student in this school lol
I think if she didn't have a romantic interest and were just friends with the student council, she could be a very likeable character. She showed a glimmer of that with the way she brother-sister banters with ShiWoon, and the way she supported ShinWoo liking TaeKyung. She has a fierce personality, but I think t's a bit much to call her a "bitch that deserves to die". She hasn't done anything too severe yet (as of ep 9), such as sabotage or murder, that would deem such reprimand in my opinion. I think she has the potential to change for the better once she realizes that DaOn isn't meant to be with her.
I really do hope that people aren't being misogynistic by just wanting to hate a potential female romantic rival in a BL.
I feel like they might have dropped this. The cast hasn't even been announced and they said they would finish filming by the 1 st half of this year. It seem to become more and more unlikely.
I don't understand how there is going to be a season 2. Season 1 isn't even done yet. I feel like it would be more interesting if there was a new set of characters in the future seasons.
Can someone kindly tell me summary of this videohttps://www.instagram.com/p/CH8SvROHTnv/?igshid=e6b73zxmh2xd
I understand little Japanese, but I translated most of it from the Korean subs. The 2 helped me hand-in-hand in translating:
Interviewers: They ask (I'm guessing his fans), what do you do usually? Keita: Usually? On my off days? I sleep deeply ("deeply" is direct translation but I think he means a lot). Or I watch streams (I'm guessing he means things like Netflix) and I read. I'm very normal. I: Cool! I: Do you have a favourite past-time? K: Past-time? I like baseball. I: Oh! We play too! Do you play on the side? K: I used to play in a team in middle school, and I got to play in sport competitions.
I dont mean to be that guy, but does anyone who read the novel know if this a has a happy ending? I prefer to watch something that'll leave me feeling it good rather than feeling troubled when its a bl drama. history 3: MODC left me shook and not in a good way.
