I dont know, after watching it i tried to seached about the 2nd season, i remember reading an article of the director on the app Weibo and facebook ( CdramaBase - Director Deng Ke of When We Were Young, which was... - Facebook https://m.facebook.com/cdramabase/posts/director-deng-ke-of-when-we-were-young-which-finished-its-run-a-few-weeks-ago-ha/351605875424151/) , im not sure if it was even real.... it has been 5 - 6 years since then.

This is a typical high - school to college romance drama, there are many similar ones but it's most of the times pretty enjoyable. This one was good

I appreciate you for taking out your time to write this review but i would like to point out 2 things,
1. this drama was not long. Typically Chinese dramas have 38 - 40 episodes each being 38 - 45 mins long, this one was comparatively shorter, with only 24 episodes.
2. China has a rule that there can't be a drama with homosexual / gay plot , so boy's love wasn't possible and for bromance story thing - the developmentof they drama didn't provide that scope.
They made the best we could ever get.

The drama is going good, i had no high hopes and started watching because of the VISUALS ( after missing Min Hyun when Alchemy of souls ended 🤡 ) and the FL's Lie detecting gift thing. I should've started this drama after its completion 😭😭 no regrets tho

Gosh! Syaon is so annoying! She LITERALLY after DoHa ! Her silliness disclosed the address of DoHa and she even threatened him by saying she'll commit suicide ! I am sure we will see more of her annoying behavior in following episodes. SHE'S A REAL MESS.
