In the novel Zhou wans grandma dies when zhou wan is only 16 and at the time she was already dating Lu xixiao, she took it pretty hard at stayed at home for 3 days Lu xixiao didn’t know until he asked Jiang yan. He rushed over to her place and let her cry on his shoulder for hours until she started to feel better and he then encourages to get herself together basically. I thought it was really cute but also really sad Zhou wan really went through a lot.
iqiyi posted a video on insta of the leads doing this one trend and I think it’s going to be the scene from the novel where they go to a really high building

I think the betrayal will be her leaving him out of nowhere after they get even closer, because in the novel he doesn’t react strongly to her being her daughter.
I binged this whole thing today and it was so worth it. I will say definitely a little overly freaked out from what im used to but still a great show no dragged out misunderstanding trope or anything.
they changed how he found out from the novel. I think the drama is moving faster for convenience; but on the other hand im really scared for how bad she’ll betray him. 😣
Also I loved how they kept the line from the novel, “someone will love every version of you” ahh so sweet. 🙈🙈
aw this was such a cute little ending i loved how there was no major breakup after the leads got together and how the vp & secretary maintained a healthy relationship after everything
overall I would say this show was worth the hype it was getting 🥹
Right so I feel like we’re losing the plot lowkey I don’t really know how to feel because the preview makes ep 11 look like a mess I just hope that this show will pull through because I really like it 🥲

I love how they’re still getting used to not using royal titles anymore and how the main couples get to do on double dates.
I liked the ending and we even got some more cute couple scenes in the end. TBH I started watching this with low expectations but im happy to say that it was worth it.
i found it funny that ki-jun works w two of his exes and the secretary is lowkey wrong for giving off the impression that something is still going on between them when they’re just roommates the vp def has problems not just w his wife and father but also our FL 😭 I also like how direct the ML is when it comes to their relationship and making sure to clear up misunderstandings
Okay so far I like it im very engaged and on edge every scene. I also think the bug in the grand princes private residence tried poisoning him bc ms girl was stressing OUT on their wedding day and omg why did they have to cut the scene where she meets w the prime minister like I wanna knoww. 😭 but anyways seeing BWS’ acting in ep 8 really reminded me of lovely runner a bit I was lowkey getting Déjà vu 💔🥹
Okay is it possible that the reason why the queen mother is so against the lead couples relationship because she likes the grand prince or is it purely hatred. I saw someone mentioning that as a reason and now I can’t see it any other way. 😭 But I am waiting to find out the reason why she is just so set on making the MLs life so miserable though.

Yeahh I noticed it too but I’m assuming it’s for dramatic effect to keep the audience watching for an answer. I noticed that kdramas use cliffhangers to keep the audience waiting for the next eps.
