I've seen the animated version of this drama and in that version Zhang Xiobei is actually a terrible person, she is extremely abusive, she comes joins projects so she can benefit from them and doesn't really do the work like in ep 7 of the live action version and she takes advantage of students on financial aid and treats them like her salve. She physically abuses the FL thinking she is a F-A student all because FL wants to protect ML from getting abused by Zhang Xiobei .
