We had action, we had romance, a bit of comedy at the beginning, direction was good, production was good, sound was good, dialogue between characters was good, the chemistry between the leads was good, the villains were good. Easily was one of the top GL out there. I appreciate one that tells a story. Nowadays, you can tell when a GL is made just to hop on the hype and make money. This is not the case.
the writers really gaslighted me into thinking Mo Eun was the stalker. And the opening with puppet strings...…
even the night that she "disappeared" from her cell, I was thinking "no way she can't get pass all of the guards" but a part of me still thought "but maybe it's possible" just like the prosecutor. Then she laughed at the idea and I realized that the writers are playing with us
here's my alternate ending: The teacher finds Hyeon Hop in the alley covered in blood and she tells her that she's been trying to solve the red line mystery her whole life but she still has no clue on how or why they appeared. She tells her that people who can see the red lines can't have partners because they end up dying (which explains why she has no visibles lines above her head). When she discovered that she got mad that other people were able to have relationships but not her, so she decided to use the glasses to make other people realize the truth about their partners even if that meant turning them into killers.
