no idea what ex bf's intentions, plans, or motives are, but i know i don't trust him. the vibes are simply terrible

all of that being said I'm not mad about the progression at all. I find it very understandable and reasonable. And comparing it to if we had 45min eps like a lot of dramas do, we'd only be on like ep 5. That makes way more sense to me considering where we're at in the story lol. It feels like it's half over when in reality it's almost done, and that's odd.

Honestly I really wish this series would've been longer. 40min eps would've done the characters SO much more justice. JYZ for instance is such a complex character to me: clearly traumatized from his past experiences with this ex (and the accident that caused his scar), and now living with a complete denial, repression, and avoidance of all romantic feelings, and nearly of human connection in general.
He even willingly displays himself as cold and unloving to keep himself distanced from others despite that not being his true nature. That ex MESSED him up real bad and for that reason I find the relationship progression completely reasonable—but I feel like longer episodes would've been so much better.

And just... idk, the script and the way the story itself was handled just feels off somehow. It's like the show didn't want to take itself as seriously as the actors did, or as it should've been.

I REALLY hope Aaron & Hank get casted in a series together that does their acting, dedication, and chemistry justice. They deserve it tbh

idk man as someone with a bunch of neurological/mental conditions, my fav characters were zhen xuan & shou yi ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i was actually able to see parts of myself & my behavior that i normally don't represented in a character. zhen xuan's "weird" body language & behavior reminds me a lot of myself.

only watched the mii2 & kimcop eps but they were adorable asf, I'm glad I didn't let negative reviews push me away from this one entirely (almost did, it was a couple weeks since I found this before I finally watched it lol)

i skipped through everything but lukmo/simai and... some of phab & mai but otherwise idek who anyone else is. this feels like it should've been split into 4 different dramas lmao

I liked Lukmo & Simai at first (I just finished 2moons the other day and Lukmo had Kit vibes & I loved that bratty doctor) but after reading some comments here I'm... not so sure I'll like them much longer...? If what people are speculating is true at least

i really adore aaron & hank!! ♡ this show is cute and fluffy and a nice break from intense thai dramas sometimes lol

even tho their names are literally tincan, i love these boys. physical chemistry is virtually nonexistent but the emotion is there!!
i looovedddd them in S1 and got to the point where i was forgetting ae & pete were supposed to be the main cpl (im sorry), but I'm ngl I'm a lil bit disappointed in this season. I'm really happy to see them again but it also feels like their relationship just...plateaus really fast, idk. something about it is just odd to me lol

this series itself isn't anything too special but jun cheng was such a weirdo that i ended up loving it anyway. this man broke into someone's house to give them a birthday cake. he's the kind of idiot that everyone around him loves to hate and those are my favorite types of characters lmao

and inspector M? one of the most delightful redemption arcs hfsgjdgdj i could tell he was gonna be one of those characters cus of all the uncomfortable stares he'd have around his boss

really recommend this one just bc of how different it is from any other gay Thai drama. This was a perfect gem to find when I was tired of stories about uni lol

i think this one can become a lot better if it's a story you can relate to in some way. the concept of someone allowing themselves to be stepped on simply bc they don't want to lose the other person is not unrealistic at all. Human emotions are weird. It's understandable to be annoyed with Third for keeping up with Khai's bs but as someone who's been in his position before I can understand how difficult it is to change your own feelings for someone, even when you know you need to.

Maybe it's just my BPD but this one really hit me lol. I felt pain on Third's behalf and that's not a common thing for me when I watch something.

Update: I've read the available volumes of the manga and I feel this drama did, for the most part, do it justice. At most it's a bit more PG. Otherwise, it follows along with the source material almost identically (and the actors were really good fits for the main roles imo).

li chen & mu ren were ADORABLE and the only reason i could get through this series. the brothers creeped me out. I tried to get over it but once the noncon scene where older bro was drunk showed up, i really couldn't get past it and the couple just freaked me out from then on.

but li chen/mu ren? babies. flawless. mwah
