Finally I decided to try watching it until the end (I tried before but I dropped it). Unfortunately it didn't get better. The leading couple is just unwatchable for me, they are so awkward and as story progresses they become more and more boring, so the latter episode the more skipping. Every time Pharm is close to Dean his facial expression tells us that he'd be most pleased if he could run away, it looked like In being inside of Pharm is forcing him somehow to be with Dean (aka Korn). The kisses are so awkward, it takes ages for them to meet their lips, we just watch their heads getting closer and closer to each other for 15 mins while listening to cringy music. The couple from the past has way better chemistry and at least we can feel that they really WANT to be with each other. The pacing of the story is sooooo sloooow it could just fit in like 5 eps without all the unnecessary scenes and pauses between sentences. For me music during kiss scenes was unbearable - that almost acapella wailing was so cringe that I was just muting it to watch in peace. Which didn't help cause scenes itself were cringy too.

I won't be original if I say that I watched it only for side characters and WinTeam; their story wasnt perfectly written tho. I still don't understand why Team just went to Win's room all of a sudden to sleep with him, cause he couldn't fall asleep alone, like wtf? Their past interactions weren't too intimate for it to happen, where are all in between scenes? Although they had great chemistry and I really like Boun's character, a little witty and naughty, quite intersting, especially compared to dull and expresionless Dean and always crying and displeased Pharm. And I like Boun as an actor and his appearance too (for me his face is just perfect, but it's unrelated to the show).

Sorry for harsh review, but this bl is just a waste of time imo. Good plot idea but very badly executed.

I'm waiting for Between Us to air and I really hope they will not ruin it. Although I have some doubts about it :<

Screen time and development pace for VP is surely a problem in a series

Second time in a history that screen adaptation is better than the book

I just read the chapter and I'm even more convinced that Vegas from the series is so much better character than from this novel...
And if they made that huge changes in the Vegas's character and their whole story in season 1 then I think and HOPE they'd do the same in season 2. They won't do that to us, V character from the series just don't much with this chapter I just read.

Oh my lord this tweet gave me goosebumps, really. This observation combined with that Kim most probably knew about Korn's plan makes his character so intriguing and it opens tons of possibilities to explore his character in S2. If they waste this potential then idk
