I'm sorry to say that this season was bad. First of all, I didn't have any expectations and didn't even wait for it that much, so I'm not disappointed. It felt so rushed that I didn't even notice that most of those people were supposed to be new main characters xd I didn't have time to notice that I should care about them. Now compare it to the first season... All of those characters had personalities and I grew fond of them. They were smart and they stood out, each one of them in their own way. I loved Arisu and Usagi then, but I was so bored of them this season.

Also the reason why Usagi came back is non existent actually. Her dad wasn't even in the games. What was the point besides running towards the hallucination of him screaming? No idea.

Even the professor's character was ruined. What was his contribution in the games exactly? At least I understand his reasons for going there.

The motivation of the game guy in a blue suit was so shallow - which is the main driving force behind our characters returning to the games and should be the most logical and captivating. I cannot with this.

But the whole point of the games was completely destroyed this season. The point was a metaphor of being on the verge of death and fighting for life. Here they just turned it into some parallel world where you can go to save someone, wtf.

At least the games were creative, but it was irrelevant if I honestly didn't care about those characters at all. They were all unnecessary and stupid.

The whole baby trope, idk - maybe it's because of low birth rates that they decided to add baby/fetus participants now in every game show? 😉 Here the baby even became a hero who saved most of them. Eh.

And what's the main message of this season? We choose between life and death, life is hard, but worth living and choosing life is a good choice. Well probably true, but so cheesy that I didn't expect it from this show tbh.

I just finished reading the novel and I can't stop thinking about it, the idea of the doors there is so deep and I link it to the esoteric/mystic ideas, as well as psychological ones
It was a wild ride and I love the MLs there
Oh what would I give to have a faithful adaptation with fully developed relationship between the leads...

yeah honestly - if Netflix picked it up and made it with a budget of Alice in Borderland, without censorship and had stayed faithful to the novel plot with fully developed relationship between MLs, it would be the happiest day of my life (well, somewhere in the top anyway xD)

But is it cut tho? We don't know it yet, how are they so sure

Yes exactly, I really like when minimum editing is done in kissing/NC scenes, for example I loved this raw scene in Bangkok Boy, so emotional. Less is more! I don't like it when they overuse effects, it's not how atmosphere should be build. Same with too much music, cuts, transitions

Now I'm curious if they changed the editing and initially it looked similar to the one from the previous episode

yeah, they just cannot make the music right... I can count on one hand the series in which the music matched the scenes

Wow, so maybe they really ARE changing the editing people complained about also in the future eps... let's be hopeful that delay will be for the best 😉

Yeah most of us had some objections when it comes to editing, so I hope those changes will be for the best (maybe the next kissing scene without all those effects and transitions which ruin everything)

after finishing my opinion is simple:
~I couldn't care less about side characters, so I practically skipped everything that didn't involve MLs (and still knew what's going on, peak writing xd)
~Without great NC scenes and chemistry of MLs this show would be... just bad
~Plot? What plot?
~the NC scene in 2nd episode is 10/10, every other one that came after is 8/10 and I agree with comments below that Sorn didn't follow his own teachings xd the scene in Sorn's home tho, ok, let's give it 9/10 😏

Just started it and after watching the NC scene in ep2 I needed to go for a smoke

Their miscommunication is what makes me suspect that the Thai dub explanation is fake news. If it was sth as simple they would most probably be honest with us. If they didnt say anything straightforwardly then probably something different is the case. People here had some different ideas:
- improving the quality of cuts and scenes put together (🙏)
- cutting intimate scenes/some sensitive content
- postponing because of the harassment of actors only, without interfering in the episodes
Those 3 are I guess the most probable. We will wait and see I guess... My heart bleeds tho

But why cannot they just say it as it is 🥲 playing riddles with fans instead of reassuring us.
