U really don't know why Ae pushed Pete back from Tin? Because Tin has been an asshole for good amount of episodes…
I think you're right (expecially about the Cina and Taiwan bit lol), I already identified Thai drama cliche but I think I was disappointed more with LBC because it started so well and so distant from cliches... sigh, Next time I will maybe be more lucky lol

the feeling I got from the scene of Ae pulling back Pete from Tin was more possessive/jealousy than protection. Also yes, seeing the direction of the series I think if it would have had a season 2, after a while Techno would "let it slide". The director sent a lot of contrasting messages, showing for sure how brutal obsessive love can be, but also letting some pg gloss over rude, sometimes dangerous behaviour because "that's just love".
what the hell. I feel I'm gonna receive hate for this, but I just have to said it somewhere: what a disappointment. I began LBC with zero expectation so I was positively surprised after the first batch of episodes: it felt organic, fast but not too superficial, funny and smart in the sense that the writing seemed aware of the cliches of BL genre and seemed to play on them. I was really pumped, Ae was the king of the fandom, he and his iconic trowing bags at Trump lol But then something slowly but surely changed, the writing fell more and more on BL stereotypes with Ae being the hyper jealous/possessive almost violent alpha and Pete being the ever forgiving, submissive, infantilez beta. The first time Ae grabbed away Pete just because he was talking with Tin I was HELL NO; NOPE. And following the spoilers, I am so glad I stopped watching it: production drama all over the place??? rape attempt disguised as a love act in a storyline where one pg was trying to recover from rape??? also ANOTHER rape (yes I'm looking at you kengkla)????? what. the. what.
I was waiting for this, but I watched the first episode and found it disappointing. I felt really disconnected to the characters and their relationships, also LJS is a fave of mine but I really found him less charismatic than usual ant not really convincing. First time watching SHS and didn't reallly liked her acting either, the last scene of the first episode was written to be a literal punch in the gut but I felt almost nothing, she didn't really emote for me. I think I find them just a little bit... too modern? It's difficult to explain but that's the general feeling. (on a side note, SHS make up is really really too modern it'd distracting). I don't wannas say it's a bad drama, the production is high quality and the directing is good, it's just that I was expecting more... Still I'm gonna finish it.
I literally can't wait for kong/arthit episode! it's a big gift just having something more with them, at this point I don't care even if they will spend a good part of the episode separated lol give me all the angst!!! the wait it's killing me but what can we say, the reserved best for last
up to episode 4 they all seem to me immature, sometimes horrible people who don't know shit about love and think having a relationship just means having fun with someone you find attractive, at this point I pretty much want every couple to break up lol but I can't stop watching! I really like the directing, the photography and the honest (even if sometimes irritating) writing.
