it is one of the rare series what evoke a emotion and desire of forever. I wanted this series to be a never-ending series. It is really too short. only 4 episodes! it is a kind of punishable crime. All the characters are lovable, including the duck. but the most lovable character was "Koyama Kazuki". He is the one who is always trying the main couple to bond together. I liked the magic and deep meaning of the dialogues and the choice of locations. The soundtrack was also amazing. They used every frame of the series to convey something, even the time of post credits unitized to progress the story. It is a true example that you dont need deep kisses or sex scenes to tell a love story. I could not like only one thing, hitting someone again and again even in a non-serious way.

It started very well but last few episodes were not good enough. last few episodes were more like - I love you all with my life but I am leaving you because... and it happened by both the leads multiple times. what a funny writing. The ending of the series could be better. It is handing between - you fulfil your dreams, I will fulfil my dream, you Live your life, I will live my life, I will do this, you will do that. Where is 'us' in this love? The lead actors are good looing but acting is a little Raw, sometimes it feels like they are not giving right expression. BUT they know how to kiss. I felt a little disconnected when they started kissing on the island right after their mother was in coma and father was also injured. Death of mother was not necessary but they need to kill someone. My eyes had tears when they meet again after returning from the Island but that scene could be more passionate. Pond is very sexy and well built. I think I have written in his previous series comment section that his lips are very kissable. but he should work on his expressions.
I wanted to like it. acting, great. direction, great. characters, great. but I am still disappointed. Because I was looking for a love story, rom-com. But I will not call this series a lover story, it is life stories of the characters. I was feeling tension watching this series. One of the leads had boyfriends who cheated with him. The other lead broke himself with the other. He was full of love with him earlier. Now he is full of love with the present lead actor. Maybe after two years he will be full of love with some other person. I mean, I could not connect with the person. Many fans will argue that this is realistic, this is life, this case is different, he was in bad relationship etc. I know all these arguments already. but still, This is the main negative aspect of this story for me. there are one sex scene in the first episode and one kissing scene in the last episode. both the scenes are good. I repeat once again, this series has perfect casting, lovable characters (except one , at least for me, as I have explained above) and perfect direction. I wish I could feel good after binge watching this series.
I had great expectations from this series. I Am very disappointed. The main problem is with the screenplay. There are many cliché, predictable scenes and many loopholes in the screenplay.
leaving a good job and going to sea to renovate an old house is used in so many BLs that it has become a tradition now. why cant they think something different? both the leads lost their loved ones but after a few minutes of tears, they were back to their usual fights! Why dragging the misunderstandings just to extend the series till 20 episodes? They don't kiss till the last few episodes, keep fighting with each other and at last, they have sex for few seconds in last two episodes only. They kiss without opening the mouth! This is one of the series I was waiting to be over. I could not stop watching just to know how they will resolve time-travel thing but it was also a mess! there are many more negative points in this disaster but I don't want to list them out.
I must admit, Ohm is looking eye candy in this series. His tight jeans, shirtless scenes, his kisses and muscular thighs in those shorts killing me. his hair style in 11th episode is improved too. I wish I could find more information about this actor. about his life and personality.

i agree with all your points but i don't think Dew is dead in his universe. You will see he is alive in next episode where this twisted writer will offer some more unreasonable plots. i wish they could have some sense and show real lovers together, not their look alike.
great series but I wish it to be at least12 episodes long so that they could show how the love blossoms and maybe some more kisses. But even in 7 episodes, they were able to show sweet moments and I could feel the depth of their love. Great series.

Director wasted a good cast and concept due to poor screenplay I think. It was too predictable when dean started those nightmares on screen. There is so much similar childhood trauma in these BLs that it has become unbelievable.
Choco is the star attraction of this series. He is not only good looking, his acting skills are too impressive. you can see inner dog in his every expression.

you are wrong. there are many gay movies and series where the main gay lover dies in the beginning and the whole movie just sells grief. this is no shock factor, it is just way of telling a sad story to express that gays dont have happy endings.

I watched it till the end and I respect everyone's views. Alas, not others respected my views. I have seen many gay movies and series where one gay lover dies and the series focus on the grief of other. We can cover it or sugar coat it by giving philosophical reasons like all are giving here, but the creative minds of those makes may deliberately or otherwise tend to avoid happy ending for gay couples. I am aware that tragic ends also also shown for straight couples but there is no arty thingy in tragedies. I am ready to be educated by the philosophers of this forum again now. ha ha!
