I agree with everything you said and it's so hard for victims to accept that this happened in this society, it has such an affect on someone's mental for a longtime and it's sad that we live in such a society that people take sexual assault/rape like you said as a role play or trope.

And I like what you said, about why it is that a drunk person is not allowed to drive because their not in their right state of mind, many people have been killed from drink driving, many people have killed themselves whilst drink driving yet these people think it is okay to give consent to sex whilst drunk because a person spoke or had their eyes opened yet a drunk driver is able to drive a car even if their not in their right mind which is how most end up killing people.

I remember watching this true life documentary of a woman in the 80's she went into a bar to buy some cigarettes and she ended up getting raped by 8 men (or something around there) and she took them to court and there was an interview and one guy said what was she doing in a bar alone, she clearly wanted it. I lost a little bit of faith in humanity when i heard that and today reading some of these comments from some people here made me feel the same way which is why I even bothered to respond.

The only ending for the step brother I will accept is the Korean white van ending.

You know what if they portrayed rape as a serious topic whereby he was raped,(as he was) he somehow found the courage to go to the police and report this RAPE and the step brother went to jail then yes I would be all for this heavy topic but no their trying to romanticise RAPE as if it’s okay when it is not. I don't know what it is about this show but when I watch it it's always really calming for me or like i just forget abt the stresses of life and relax. Maybe its the nature and the village life and village drama and beautiful scenery. I also love the quotes at the end of each episode.
