Watched epi 3. I have accepted this is a reality show/dancing competition. I'm seeing a few more people that I like. Taki is warming up to me and K aswell. I liked the 6 grounders that went up to the i-land.

I think I liked more people who were originally on the ground than those on the i-land.
Heesung, why is he always the leader? And his dancing wasn't that great. I don't know why they keep on making him centre. In a facial expression competition he would have been great. I think.

Also, Poor Nam Goong min, probably thought he would get as much screen time as Lee Dong Wook, who we fell in love with more on produce. Hopefully as more episodes go on we will see him say more than just a few lines per episode.

@yoonmiboo Tell me how can a few rabid fangirls make a drama so popular. How can the author in one sentence say this drama is backed by rabid obsessive fans who pushed the drama to the top of the list and then in another sentence say oh no this isn’t an insult I was only talking about a few rabid fans.

The writer of the outdated article basically insulted everyone who watched, enjoyed and rated this drama which is why it’s at the top of the list and said don’t take it as an insult.

If you insult someone then say don’t take it as an insult that doesn’t make it less of an insult.

Anyways, the Untamed was an amazing drama that I really enjoyed, the storyline was phenomenal and the actors did a brilliant job.

I’m glad so many people enjoyed the drama as much as I did.

I agree, when Chinese dramas get big it’s ohmygosh why it’s the rabid fan girls, it’s cos we think we’re their girlfriends. There has to be some crazy reason why this Chinese drama was more popular than all the Korean dramas out there now.

Korea really needs to step up their game with bl dramas. There is a huge market and even with the censorship China put this out.

And also I feel like their so many young talented actors in Korea who don’t get the chance nowadays.

But you are right, untamed I didn’t go it with much expectation but it really blew me away. The storyline was really good and I guess it’s hard for some people to believe that maybe a Chinese drama got popular because it’s a really good drama and maybe many people enjoyed it.

When most of us watched untamed, we don’t WANT the boys to ourselves, we don’t want them as our boyfriends. I am thinking something is wrong with this author, did they think they were dating the boys when they watched untamed? LOL

The boyband effect is insulting to all the kpop fans who like kpop for their music. It’s the same when people write articles saying all kpop fans are 12 year olds girls. Stop stereotyping us as people who like Kpop cos we want to date them.

Anyways, anyone who liked the untamed. The same author who wrote that, also wrote heavens official blessings and I’m reading the novel now and it is AMAZING. They are also going to turn that novel into a drama and it is also a bl novel with an amazing storyline.

I will be waiting for the next thinkpiece that will claim that the reason people will like that is because they see themselves as the male leads girlfriend not the amazing storyline or the acting or the production.

So it’s a boy band effect because they are no female leads and their hot guys. So every other BL drama which had two guys as leads is just the boy band effect.

No untamed is popular because it actually had a good story line, great production and the actors were good. I’ve watched many c-dramas and it was the best that year because it was a good show not because of the boyfriend effect.

I want to improve my korean and I want to challenge myself to watch without subs and then with subs. I thought a web drama would be a great place to start. I liked the look of this one.

Okayyy, the ending was crazy but I wasn't surprised, they really wasn't anywhere they could go with either couple with their bodies switched. I'm guessing. Now we will have Pan.Khett ship sailing.

All I will say from the little that we heard he probably had the best vocals from everyone there. I just wish we saw more of their talents...but i cud be wrong.

They were four that went down to the ground at the beginning, cos they can only be 12 people but they were 16 but nope next week that's when they will switch those with the ground.

Erm I was kinda disappointed in episode 2. I felt it was more like I was watching big brother. I wish I could see more of their talents. Are all the good singers on the ground? I've never heard so many singers singing off pitch in my life.

Even the song, into the iland was kind of meh...If I compare it to some of the produce pick me songs or even treasure box going crazy. This song feels flat (im trying to find a nice word to here lol)

I just think they are focusing more on the technicality of the land than the contestants talents. I just don't see anyone in there that has the star quality. Their all very average.

Which is disappointing, maybe in a few more episodes things will change. But I wish them luck, they will deffo be successful and have loads of fans just because it's Bighit.

I loved this drama but I really hated how they dealt with the male lead trying to rape the female lead. Even tho he stopped cos she was crying the trauma of just that would be a lot and I hated how he never apologised, the next day she acted like it didn't matter and doing stuff for him.
To me attempted rape vs heart break cannot be compared.

If they weren't going to address what had happened properly they shouldn't have even put the clip in.

You cannot have an attempted rape scene and act like it never happened. Brush it under the rug. Which is such a contrast to before when he did so much to prevent himself from doing that and consent was something that they played on a lot.

So, the moral of the story is if a girl breaks your heart you can attempt to rape her but if you stop you are a gentleman.

Sorry, that just really annoyed me and it was really sad to see the reactions of the comments on viki when they bashed the female lead but came up with so many excuses for the male lead when he tried to rape her. (of course they were alot of comments too that also it was wrong wat he did)

Luckily, they were only a few episodes left after that but I felt a bit sour watching his scenes.

This was sooooo funny. I loved it from the beginning until the end. (except for 1 thing the male lead did to the female lead) They were literally so cute together and I enjoyed the storyline and all the charactors.

Hmm, honestly, the guy who plays Mico, is just meh. I wish they had cast someone else. The other lead Xavier, his acting isn't great. His handsome so I guess he will get a pass for that.

This feels like a knock off Gameboys and I am slightly convinced this might have been greatly inspired by Gameboys. as everything about this show screams knockoff Gameboys.

Nothing is executed right, the storyline is a mash up of everything we have already seen before but not done well. The acting is not so great, the actors I've already mentioned at the top.

If they were to meet and it was a setting were they met, maybe it would be better but it's just meh.

I gave it two episodes, it wasn't that great, I will probably put it on hold and in the future if im bored, i might binge watch the episodes when it's finished.

Ok I am liking the female lead and the male lead.

I’ve seen history 3 trapped. It was a good bl drama too. I enjoyed that aswell. At this moment Tharntype is still my favourite bl drama but everyone has different tastes. Thank you for suggesting it tho :)
