Just finished this drama. I will say the first 30-39 episodes or so were good. I loved what a strong powerful bada** the female lead was and also the chemistry between our main leads was just so beautiful. Where can i find a man who will love me unconditionally like that.
However, there were far too many flashbacks and at the last few episodes, the cut scenes made no sense, there was no order.
Would I recommend, yes because even though it had flaws it is better than other c-dramas out there.
meh, that was disappointing. I love robot type of drama's but this was more like a switching type of drama. Female lead ruined it a lot for me, didn't really like her. I liked the first few episodes but then wen it was obvious was the storyline was about I got bored.
I think it lacked in many aspects, it tried but wasn't too great. meh, atleast I tried it.
I have only watched 6 episodes but this is sooooooo funny. I love both leads. Male lead is so freakin beautiful and Mina female lead i just love her squeaky voice. Amazing actress. Luv it so far, why hadnt i tried this sooner.
hmm, it's alright, I have a few episodes left but I just don't feel the chemistry with the main leads. Like at all, at the beginning I thought I saw it cos they had the whole forbidden love thing but now there is just not enough chemistry. He honestly had more chemistry with the female lead from Something in the rain. Now it's just meh. Im kinda dissapointed. I just hope Jung Hae in doesn't do the same role again or work with the same writer and all that. He needs to try other things now.
I get maybe they wanted to re-do basically something in the rain cos it was AMAZING for the first 8/9 episodes n then it went down hill but with these types of dramas without the chemistry there's not really much else. But that's just my lonely opinion other people think there's chemistry n thats great.
I think im in love, he looks sooo beautiful in the untamed, like im just looking at him on the screen like is he real, how can someone be so beautiful.
And then i found out his in the kpop group Uniq, lol at the contrast from the untamed to rapping on their songs. The skills and talents, im in awe.
I really like this so far, I gave it a go cos it was bl well as bl a chinese drama can be now lol. But i really found myself liking the storyline. Also, both male leads are soooo beautiful and their acting is amazing. I just cant stop staring at Lan Zhan.
I guess I will need to check out the novel as well. (ok quick question to anyone who has read the novel, with the bl stuff, do they kiss in there, is it pg13 or smutty 18+? And how long roughly in the novel do they move on from being friends? (half way through the novel or first 10 chapters? idk) If a kind soul answers, u can put it in the spoilers tag, thank u.

lol i luv how when i come here after watching an amazing show the first comments I read are negative reviews probably from people who have seen one episode and left it. Either way. This was the best c-drama in 2018 for me. If you like historical drama's then deffo watch. It is amazing.
After re-watching this, I can say without a doubt this is the best romance c-drama I have ever seen. The emotions. How can this still be so good, how can make me cry again. How can I be so happy as wen I watched it the first time. Defiantly, loved their romance and the love storyline. The journey they went through was beyond amazing. Also, Mark Chao, is an amazing actor, like honestly the emotions he showed in this. Hands down the best actor I have ever seen. Like wow. And Yang Mi, wow. She was amazing too, such a versatile actress. Every thing about this was beyond amazing. If I have to re-watch it again in another 2 years I will. This drama is such a gem.
Ahhhhhh, its on viki now. I dont knw why im this happy, i guess now I can watch this show n scream n cry abt it in the timed comments. Im still not over how great this is. Third time watching brilliant drama.

You know how some shows love to save the best for last well with this I was attacked with a load of fluffy goodness from the first few minutes n it carried on until the end. Ahh, this was sooo good. The actors were both amazing, like i swear if this was a 16 episode drama with the same actors n directors it wud be sooo popular. I kept on repeating some scenes cos they were that good and squalling, the feels. Chemistry was amazing, natural, fire. Yeah, i enjoyed this one a lot.
I rated it 9/10. I was really surprised by how good this was, it was heart warming, we got a steamy scene ;) lol, there was a good message basically love yourself. Also, i just wanted to support Korean bl film makers it's not that often they make bl movies this good. Either way I enjoyed it, there was the chat part that was unique n funny.
Also, Ms.Go deserved a toy boy, I was slightly disappointed in who she ended up with. But that younger couple was sooo cute. I wud have loved to see her mother's face now that they were together for real. I will miss this show.
It's finished, i was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I liked how they showed the struggles of the real world in getting a job and also I really liked the main couples relationship, it felt natural and flowed. They had each other's back.
I was also really surprised at the little things I learnt about books, and the publishing world. That was a nice touch.

This made me cry real tears, i guess it hit a little close to home. Sometimes you work so hard n life just doesnt turn out the way you want it. But it also helped me make an important decision in my self. But either way this was an amazing movie. With a great message about life. I rated it 10/10.
