I am going to start this one "Road Home" as I heard from someone that the story is pretty much different and the main leads are also kind of mature. I don't know if this is true. I have always loved the performance of Tan Songyun in her previous works (Fox Summer, Go Ahead, Flight To You ). There is no doubt in her acting, she's the best. Plus, Jing Boran is also a good actor. A league of noble man was the first work where I saw his performance for the first time. I am not a fan of his/ hers but I admire them as an actor/actress. But, While watching drama, what am mostly concerned about is the plot and the story. I don't know if this drama story will satisfy me. As I find Chinese Modern Dramas to be too boring these days. Everything is too sophisticated, rich family, the cold male lead, office romance, amnesia, immature female lead, mostly unrealistic.....there must be very few modern Chinese dramas where I can really watch real-world stories and plots.
From the preview, it seems like Qinkui will be gone tonight. Will she be resurrected ? I heard in the novel version, she was resurrected ? I will be super sad if my fav couple is gone ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I'm enjoying it so far at ep 2, but does the sound get any better?I currently can barely hear the actors voices…
for me his voice is absolutely fine. I am glad that he used his own voice instead of using other voice actors. It's tiring and annoying at the same time listening same voice in every dramas. Once you get used to the plot, everything will be alright.
finished watching ep16. slowly im loosing interest in this drama. Why do i feel like everything is repeating again?
actually i am chasing two dramas at the same time. One is The starry love and the other is the journey of chong zi. So, this comment got in the wrong one. The starry love is super exciting. How can it be bored ?? haha....

tbh, i even didn't get clearly what exactly happened at the end of ep 14. it was too sudden at lightening speed. I had to rewind once again to understand it. So at that moment or point, he kiiled chong zi......
It's not like the actor is not good. I think it's just the director and scriptwriter didn't focus on their work properly as you said. Poorly done !!
