i came in with zero expectations and am enjoying it so far. it did get a little draggy around the 25th episode or so

the first nine episodes were very enjoyable, but the finale was kinda disappointing (which is understandable).
and same, i desperately wanted a second season after i finished it.

Ohara Sakurako was chosen out of 5000 people who auditioned for the main role. Joy has some really big shoes to fill.

i wondered where i saw her before when i was watching hwarang. turns out she's the main lead in that one gikwang drama i watched a while ago.

11th was definitely better than i expected, but not enough to keep me going.
sigh... the things i do for park hyungsik

- i want more bromance scenes like the one between sunwoo and jidwi in the river, but what i want even more is definitely more sooyeon x aro scenes. i just ADORE their friendship.
- suho literally going all hearteyes over the queen next to jidwi was the highlight of this episode for me
- the princess is too icy to be likeable so far
- not enough banryu
- not enough sung dongil
- there can never be enough hyungsik for me
- not enough female characters that i can root for
- why does sunwoo keep on fainting?

depends tbh. for me it was kinda boring and i basically skipped through episodes towards the end. but many seems to have enjoyed it. i suggest you go in with absolutely no expectation about how the drama will be and you might like it.

you're SO right about high society like almost 95% of the audience i've interacted with preferred the second lead couple over the main.

the male lead is legit kristen stewart in the twilight saga. he has like three expressions maximum.

a girl and three sweethearts is one of the most mediocre dramas i've ever seen lmao like i get why it's popular but from the few jdramas that i've watched this is average at best. also yamaken is not an idol as far as im aware.

im in no way trashing people who enjoyed the drama btw. im glad you found it entertaining, it just wasn't my cup of tea.
