I was in the mood for a short melodrama and came across this. Well I guess I expected too much. It felt lacking, and it just didn't get through me. Read the plot and that's actually it like you don't even need to watch.
I was really young when I first watched this. I loved it so much I don't know how many times I've watched it. Well now more than a decade has passed and I just realized how weird this is or should I say how this is gonna get weird lmao hahaha
Too bad the FL didn't really have a character development. I endured it in season 1 but damn it sometimes felt annoying already that there's still no progress in season 2. Anyways, I made it 'til the end.
I might have really liked this if I watched this during my ignorant teen era lol too bad but anyways, the ending felt kinda rushed.. the FL was tolerable, I was thinking maybe there would be a character development in season 2 but...
Just one thing. Reduce the scenes with the other guy (it felt draggy I had to play on 2x speed lol) and then replace them with more relationship build up scenes between the main leads instead and it's all good.
I was so excited about this reunion only to be disappointed. I kept forcing myself to watch until ~20mins mark, then I eventually just skipped to the ending part and that's it.
I like it but... damn the CHANGE OF CHARACTERS??? It spoiled the chemistry that was built 💔 what a bummer! T~T .. it's like you were trying to build something, and you were down to the last piece but you suddenly decided to destroy everything like bruh ?? ><
I can't get enough of her after watching MHIL >< I could only hope she's still going to do another project. It's understandable though if she won't since she has a newborn.
Do we get past the whatever FL did to ML that made him hate her by ep 5? Or is ML’s hate going to last for most…
Okay here comes the spoilers haha
Well, they didn't really get together until the last ep because of the ML's mother (I found her the most annoying >< her hate for the FL due to what happened before really lasted that long)
Someone killed her mother while his father committed suicide. One day, the FL's father took her to ML's house and asked the ML's father to take care of her daughter if anything happens. She knew something was wrong so she rushed home. Their house was a mess and she heard a gunshot. She went up and saw her father lying on the ground. The ML's father followed her. He came and saw the FL, shocked and covered with blood. He went upstairs and realized what happened. Then a phone call followed saying they found the FL's mother dead in the hotel. Both of them went to the scene. There she saw her mother dead. She eventually collapsed from what was happening. The ML's father took care of her and asked her to move into their house.
I guess it's because the ML was always there for her and also because of fear and trauma that she started getting delusional over the ML. But she was really getting over the line and annoying as hell she's about to get kicked out of their house. So in order to stay, she charged at him when he was drunk but accused him of wanting to rape (?) her when his parents came. He got enraged, went out then got into a car accident which caused him to be hospitalized and not be able to play soccer (?) which he really loves. She eventually got kicked out.
Anyway fast forward to when she came back to their house. She's way better than she was before. The ML started showing signs of jealousy but still in denial at ep. 7 when his friend offered to help the FL for a project (his jealousy are one of the funny parts lmao) then I think it was around ep. 12-14 when he told her he loves her and asked her if she could love him again. But the FL was holding back because she's afraid she'll get him in danger again and also because of his mother.
Having watched too many lakorns where everyone's always angry, screaming and slapping each other lmao, this was so refreshing! hahaha it wasn't something that made me want to finish all episodes in one sitting though... but still a good one time watch.
It's already predictable since the beginning and it's quite draggy or slow paced so I wouldn't recommend watching this in one go, otherwise you might get bored.
ps. if you're here for romance, well it's not really concentrated on that
Okay so it's not as controversial as some comments deemed it to be. I almost did not watch this. HEAR ME OUT. Just go watch it and decide for yourself!
Well I was originally not going to watch this because I thought it's just Kleun Cheewit and Hua Jai Sila combined based on the clips I've seen. I thought those scenes are so familiar. lol.. anyways, it's not really. But it's a mix of lakorn ingredients with a different base and will still keep you engaged.
ps. Aunt Waew and Jane are so pretty they're giving me that classic immaculate beauty vibes <3
Oh i saw you in my husband in law as well lol i am planning to watch this one on my next break what do think is…
I actually saw a lot of videos of So Wayree when it was airing, and I was thinking of not watching it because I thought it's just a mix of Kleun Cheewit and Hua Jai Sila (I seriously recommend this! even the soundtracks are great >< haha)... I'm back to searching what to watch and I came across it again but what's really holding me back is the redemption of ML's character. I've read that he just did good stuff for the FL and was not held accountable (so I thought it was rape or something like that.. 'cause if it was, I don't think I would be satisfied with him just doing good things like c'mon let him pay for it) but okay, after reading your comment, I guess that's not the case and I might give this a shot :3
For My Life is to Kill... I've seen a lot saying it's so underrated so I guess that's a thing to be curious about.
I put this on hold for a long time just because I thought the FL would be the annoying naive type from the trailers I've seen BUT DAMN I'M GLAD I GAVE IT A GO (thanks to netflix)! She's definitely not that! uwu.. also Mark Prin's acting got better
It's true. You have to survive the first 5 episodes before it gets better BUT then it turns into a cliche. Not a total disappointment but it's a bummer to me.

mhil is definitely better! this one is just too cliche already past ep5, I turned up the speed/ skipped some parts because of that.. lol
I recommend Kleun Cheewit or Hua Jai Sila ><
