I would recommend this as it's a good drama. I would watch it again. The main things I liked about it is that the plot moved pretty quickly and it was funny.
Some people have compared this to Boys Over Flowers. This is nothing like Boys Over Flowers. In my opinion it is actually better than Boys Over Flowers.
What the hell is going on in this drama? It's nothing like the manhwa, and I'm kind of disappointed. And why'd they kill off the second lead??! Si Hoo doesn't die! And where is all of this past life crap coming from? None of this happens. This isn't even a "based on Orange Marmalade" drama anymore, this shit is just made up. This drama is seriously all over the board! If I was Seok Woo, I'd be pissed off!
If Si Hoo really is dead, I'm totally dropping this. I understand he's going to be alive in the past life scenario they're gonna cram into this roller coaster of a story, but if he's truly dead in the present, I'm out of here.
For anyone who hasn't read the webtoon there are good reasons why people are so upset. In the webtoon, Jae Min's mother is actually the teacher and she helps put the band together (she is married to a vampire). Ma Ri has 2 best friends, Suri and Woomi, who after finding out she's a vampire help her hide it for a while. Ah Ra even becomes her friend later and helps her out. Si Hoo is the vampire that Ma Ri's parents want her to marry. And Jae Min... that poor boy has to literally stalk Ma Ri before she dates him; and Ma Ri tries her best to stay away from him because she can smell his blood. Ah Ra doesn't out Ma Ri either, Si Hoo's blood bank/human girlfriend Chae Rin does.
This drama is amazing! I would DEFINITELY recommend watching it. The cast did a fantastic job and I thought the OST was also good. I will miss the characters from this show. I'm sad that it's over.
