i beg to differ. there were some plot holes and absurdity
In my opinion, the movie was lacking in detail in various spots.

for starters I think it was absurd that she left him at the end and was to overbearing with his trauma. I also would've wanted to know more in depth with his friends death. I'm confused on how he died and how that made his friends "murderers" which lead him to jail. I swear I replayed the death scenes like 12 times to try to understand how he was a murderer by that when it was everyone's problem for playing on the roof. I also want to know how the cafe owner and Mi-soo (the female lead) somehow knew he was straight out of jail before he even told them.

Title Extraordinary You Spoiler
Coming back here to give my two cents again, the ending made me mad. we should've seen what happened to ALL the characters like BK and Do Hwa in the new story. And how was haru able to change the scenes? was he the writer? because only the writer could do that. so many plot holes after thinking about it for a while. I also wanna know how they somehow found each other again because I don't want to just leave it to fate. I also wanna know how the squids girlfriend became aware and everything

Title Tune in for Love Spoiler
Ending!?
very much agree. There were quite a few plot holes. When did you watch the movie? If you remember in the beginning the bakery owner and the FL looked at him and were like "he looks like he just got out of jail" like how had they known that just by looking at him? If I was an actor for the movie I'd be confused reading the script. Also the scene where his friend died why did they show him falling off but once they had run to go check up on him his body wasn't there?

The Park Ok-ran thing had me confused to. I'm kind of upset they didn't give us a thorough explanation. At first I thought maybe she was an actress and was working with her the whole time but then I thought no.

I read a pretty good theory that KMY dad had hallucinated that he had thrown her into the water because of his brain tumor/dementia. And so he thought he actually killed her. He could just left her in the basement or brought her outside and thought he'd thrown her but didn't. Who knows what Gang-tae's friend will do (Jae-su) but Gang-tae told him to find what HE wants to do and makes him happy. Maybe he'll start dating the assistant (Seung-jae). I would like say I am confused on how his company collapsed because how did he just have KMY as an author? Did the others withdraw? etc. But yeah

boy do i love Gang-tae's personality. he really has it all and I love how he's not perfect. like he won't put up with everyone and says No when he wants to. He's also not scared to show affection to the ones he's truly close to and loves. him hugging Ju-ri's mom made me fall in love w/ him 10x more. ALSO SORRY FOR THE SPAM THIS IS MY LAST ONE.

I do love the show to bits but are we all collectively ignore the absurd circumstances of KM's mum's "death"?
this was EXACTLY what I was thinking. lowkey thought I was missing something.

I agree that was a really weak plot point, but wasn't really the point of the show. Everything else in the story…
I agree with you! Even thought it wasn't that great of a twist, I still appreciate this show with the acting, work, and meaning each episode had correlating with the story.
