The first part is pretty boring, but it's the only part that have a lot of main roles. In later parts, the plot is getting faster and there's not a lot of main leads part at the last part. Basically the part is not draggy after the first arc for me. Well, about the chemistry, they're working on it since they just met each other. Yes, skipping the boring part is a way, but I recommend to not skipping to much, since a lot of people doesn't understand the last arc because skipping the first arc

If he really doesn't care about her, why did he save her soul at the Tribulation of Chaos? Why did he use his 'original being' to get the Power of Chaos? This shows us that he actually really cares about her, and he will do anything just to save her, but people just forgot about it and just only blame it on him, like why though? He did a lot just to save her. He just stand there since Gu Jun and Tian Qi already help her. If they don't help her, he will be the one who save her asap

Ikr? They don't understand the sufferings that Bai Jue endured, they just see through Hou Chi's perspective. Bai Jue didn't even know that they have a baby, since Hou Chi knows about it when she's on an exile. That's why only Tian Qi knows about it, but Qing Mu/Bai Jue don't know anything about it

My opinion for Tribulation of Chaos;
From what I believe, the Tribulation of Chaos is a one-time. Why did it have a second one? This is because the first Tribulation of Chaos got stopped in the process, because Bai Jue saved Shang Gu's soul, that's why there should be only one Tribulation of Chaos, but since BJ saved SG, the first Tribulation of Chaos resumes later.
The ending, I agree. Just a 30 sec hapoy ending is not enough

Yeah, rather asking to understand, they just makes their own conclusion and just think in others perspective, not on BJ perspective. They did reincarnate Yue Mi, atleast on the novel sequel. There could be a chance that there will be a sequel just like EL-ELOD. So for me, losing 2.5 points for just Yue Mi "not reincarnate" is basically harsh since the novels says she did reincarnate.

If you see closely, BJ pretended to lose his memory, but he scream outloud 'Hou Chi', which make us see that he's trying to save her, he didn't even forgot her. But since Tian Qi already saving her, it's better to suffer himself, rather obviously failing the plan. Apart from that, BJ didn't even know that they have a baby, that's why you can see that he was pretty shocked. Since Gu Jun and Tian Qi helped her, that's why he just goes on with his plan. So please, if you don't understand, please ask more rather saying bad things to BJ, since it makes me furious that no one is understanding BJ suffering
