I really don't like any kind of objectification of actors/actresses and it makes me uncomfortable... Thank you for writing this so I can agree with you, I really don't like it being used for nothing relevant and just so out of nowhere... I don't wait for those scenes but if they want to put them for the people who do, they maybe put them more suitable to the drama idk.. I wouldn't miss them if they just not show any scenes like that at all tbh :D
Hey, almost 4 years of Computer Scientist with some interest in Cyber Security and I agree with most of your points and that's actually how they do it in Western shows/movies as well if you ask me. It's just gotta be cool, shiny and brilliant. But it would seem boring if they show the reality so they gotta spice things up, like hacking into a prison system in 15 mins without getting caught? Wohh so cool! Is it likely? No. But nvm it's just cool lol Teamwork is a real must but lonely cool hacker character sounds cooler as well. The "hacker" should be that antisocial guy or used to be the antsocial guy who now is amazing etc Btw, actually there might be some ways to get your data back depending on the browser and website, might not be as well.. But pretty sure they don't know what they are doing in those scenes and just trying to shine the male lead up tho lol Also if I am not wrong, in Reply 1994, the female lead was a CS student! I feel so, so sad... I don't even know how to react.. It's still hard to believe this is actually true. He was one of the few people who could actually touch my life and help me make it better.. I wish his characters could have given inspiration to him as it did to me.. Yes, it was so easy to believe the characters were actual humans, not fictional ones, once even Junho had said it felt like if he goes to Busan he will see Gang Doo and Moon Soo there, i felt the same. The story was also heart breaking yet the healing was amazing.. I liked most of the dramas from your list, thank you for putting them out here! :)
It was fun to watch, I recommend anyone to have a fun relaxed time to watch it. I wasn't even into mukbang-eating show videos and all the sounds they deliberately make. But here you only see an awkward host who just lovess eating lol A good watch for free times, but beware that it will make you hungry~
It has been months that I have finished this series but I felt happy seeing a post about it when I saw it~ They are so cute and this drama can be a definition for cute without so many cringeness. Ofc there are some dumb moments, some scenes you find it very silly but not overall. If you want to have an escape from reality and have some fun time, you can watch this^^
This drama is so unexpectedly funny I love Yoon Shi Yoon and his antics so much and his character *spoiler-ish alert* keeps thinking he is a killer in such a funny way it made me laugh so much at times :D I hope it keep being this way~~
He is so handsome, so talented, so hardworking, caring and so humble on top of it, he may be the nicest person I have ever seen.! And thank you so much or all these lists! It wasn't this updated when I last checked! I hope we can add more dramas and movies for him cause as a person who have been watching kdramas for 10 years, he is so suited for it! Also he is so hardworking and is self challenger so I am sure if he wants, he would be a great actor!
Sorry to say that but your wish for Age of Youth is probably not gonna happen since the actor is arrested for drunk driving... I loved their story too and I am sad real world even can ruin imaginary worlds. Stranger Season 2 would be just awesome!
I hope he gets more chances as an actor, I used to think he has everything for an actor; the look, the height, the built but was not capable of acting. But now I can see that he really improved and I see a big potential in him, as in acting. Just watch him and you'd know. I hope he gets oppurtunities and grows a passion about acting, cause once he wants to do it, I feel like he can rock. Also he is the most precious person, so nice, so humble, sp thoughful, so caring... He deserves everything I hope he stays happy always^^
