Gu Jiusi character is a refreshing one in the drama world that too in the olden days where male chauvinism exists. He is a breathe of fresh air. I was quite surprised when he told he trusted LYR even after she spend the night at bandits place. In the beginning also he was like "men and women are equal" I thought it was just lip service and any men is full of ego. But when he told he trusted her whole heartedly wow, i literally fell for his character. Lovely!!!!
I was so happy when she over-powered him with words and authoritatively questioned him. She was so right when she told him what had happened in the past. Everyone didnt question him whatesoever he was doing. So, he is coming closer to her and accepts her words & immediately calls DY. Good for him if he listens to her. ZZY was so natural with her expressions and delivery of the dialogue in that scene. Oh, i was repeating that scene more than 10 times. Everything was so natural. Now he himself has to realize that he is afraid of one and only ZY, his princess - GONGJU at last we were all expecting that word from him. Love this drama. This deserves a 9+ i say, 8.5 is very very less.
I am angry at the mom who is still controlling her daughter. she is already grown up and she can very well know what to do/not to. ZY should clearly talk to her mom that she can take care of herself. while i still dont know about the dad. he is yet to make an entry in the 2nd half. SMH these asian parents, OMG!!!!!!!
