to be fair he had good feelings for thap when he first met him at the graduation, but that changed when thap became hostile and mocking once he found out in's job. at the same time in gets pissed off by thap who is so sure of himself and refuses to believe in's warning but thap also displays a caring side that must be in a way softening in at least a little. on thap's side, he loves pissing in off and still doesn't believe in the visions but he does seem to care a little about in at least as in's best friend's brother, plus he feels bad because in is all alone—thats why the feelings between them are fluctuating between annoyance and something more. in says he want to do it himself because he doesn't want to rely on anyone ever or interact with anyone because as i said he doesn't want to get attached and wants to be left alone in his corner basically, so there's a reason for that here. also, for the elevator attack, this must have been so distressing for him (and thap too) to nearly die, he was having pretty much a panic attack, of course he wants to get home, he's exhausted and traumatized 😭

no offense but why do you find him annoying? because if it's the way he doesn't get along with thap and shuts him off every time, it's because first of all thap looked down on him because of his job so its kind of humiliating plus because he doesn't want to get attached and risk losing someone else. hes just a really traumatized 22 years old

a year is a lot for these two codependent men ahahahah they were already counting the minutes they spent apart in ep 6 when they had only been apart for a few days idk how they survived a whole year without each other (and you're welcome!!)

instead of one month they are separated for a year! it takes talay a few months already to get back to the other universe and then longer even to get a chance to meet puen because he seems so out of reach and all

the vice versa novel ends with puen and talay meeting again (except their separated lasted much longer than in the series), however, there arensome special chapters afterwards of their life together
