That's so terrible :'( As a European I really don't understand not only those parents but also the children who listen to their controling parents. For example, if I was in this situation like FL, I would've already packed my bags and left, like f**k off, I'm a grown woman, I have my own money and I can do what I want with my life. Of course it's disrespectful towards parents everywhere, but if I was like the FL I wouldn't listen to my mother anymore and be with the man I love. I think the parents would come around eventually. Especially like in this drama, they really have no actual power over FL or ML life in opposition to some chaebol dramas where parents could have actual negative impact towards leads, here it's just mother's ambitions, nothing more.
Seriously... I'm left speechless and heartbroken after finishing this drama... I think I've only cried as much after finishing Moon Lovers and Youth of May... THEY DESERVED A HAPPY ENDING!!!

Is it gonna get better? I've finished 8 episodes so far and I'm getting kinda bored about the whole hostage situation, shouting and panic. As a medical student, I'd say this drama in particular does a great job in portraying hospital life (not that it's done perfectly, but still more accurate than in most dramas). Especially when there were moments with those two med students - I could relate so much, since it was actually so true to what we as students experience in hospitals.
