I'm not stopping anyone from watching this though? I am choosing not to watch it myself and only replying to the people who seem to not understand why Muslims are mad. Although even if I explain, you wouldn't truly understand it as you are not one yourself, but im just bringing out my point of view. And you are right, what is offensive is subjective. Which is I've said this before but whether Christians or people of other beliefs are upset over the representation of their religion is THEIR business to mind. As someone who does not truly understand the essence of being a Christian, I wouldn't feel it the same way. But do I invalidate their concerns? No. Black people cancel celebs for cultural appropriation, do I truly understand what they're so mad about? No. But who are you to invalidate their opinions? This is a kdrama, which also has the freedom of writing whatever script they wish, but they're airing it on a huge platform, possibly looking for views worldwide. Doing that, they should've seen the backlash coming.
