so you completely ignored the “time loop, investigation, death, suspense, explosion, character development, rescue mission, violence, flashback to past” tags and focused on the very last tag: “strangers to lovers”? cause yea they are strangers to lovers. but the genres never involved anything with romance.. it couldn’t have been your cup of tea and that’s ok, but criticizing the “romance” is really out of place for this drama.
oh gosh i haven’t been HOOKED into a drama this much for a long time.. i went crazy when i was not watching 😭 it was so so good i didn’t expected it to be this good!! i was literally obsessed

the passion, the rage, the deepness, the darkness, the feelings, the obsession, the pain, the unfairness, the sadness.. everything and every emotion of this drama was so beautiful and so bitter at the same time. i loved how it had an dark cinematography along with the dark en deep emotions.
it wasn’t just a simple drama, it has layers of emotions within the characters that makes every scene feel so alive. i love how complicated the characters are, it makes you think and feel deeply, it slurs you into the storyline.
the passion and craziness it was stood out to me the most. how some people can be completely captured in art and how it drives them completely nuts, with or without it. it portrayed beautifully how some people just can live without art and how significant art is in this world.
we unfortunately haven’t seen many kdramas about art and i actually really miss this. kdramas are acelent in delivering emotions and art needs that. kdramas only have kpop groups as theme but i hope we will see more deep art dramas in the future.
lastly, i want to talk about the bond between pi o and jeong yo. some people are just soulmates, whatever their relationship may be. it’s beautiful to see a deep connection between souls and how art makes it even stronger and more alive. their lives were cruel, they hated and loved each other. no matter what, their bond is stronger than everything else.
i just feel so heavy completing this drama, and i know i will miss this so dearly, i will definitely come back again and again. i have so much more feelings im feeling right now but i cannnot describe it. i am so glad to see a wonderful kdrama after a long time.
arg people just ignore the negativity on this drama it’s actually so so good! the friendship portrays a deep emotional connection while it’s a hard one to maintain, but it’s a relationship that can’t be replicated. the love and the hate.. they can’t be together but also also not separate. being each others best companion but also the reason you’re falling apart.. i really missed watching real emotional hardships with deeper meanings. not just the two guys but the family of pi o, it’s a big hateful mess. the whole vibe of this drama is lightly dark that’s so perfect now it’s getting cold outside, im enjoying this so much so far.
why the massive hate guys it was actually pretty great, even better compared to the horrible dramas we have this year…. i finally got to watch a drama that was giving kdrama vibes! a solid 8/10

i think you misunderstood me a bit. i fully support her decision to go abroad. i totally get why she went and i got mad at soobin last episode. it’s just that the break up is really unnecessary if they get back eventually.
soobin wouldn’t be able to help her with her work while she’s abroad so why breaking up? after two years they would’ve been together and that happened eventually so why breaking up? why going back if you think breaking up is the best decision?

she’s going abroad and he suggested to wait for her for 2 years and she didn’t agree to this, it’s ridiculous imo. i get that she doesn’t want to rely on him for his education and going abroad is not the issue, he would do anything but being a boyfriend.

i listen to the ost’s too!! multiple of them. our beloved summer is one of my fav dramas, i didn’t expect it to be that good ofc, but like you said it’s way better written. this drama had better potential imo
