It's been a while since I watched this, but I do remember being very impressed with Siwon. This drama was my introduction to him since I don't follow kpop.
Overall, I enjoyed this a lot and the chemistry between the leads is the main reason it worked for me. Otherwise, I'd have dropped it and never looked back.
This is hands down one of the best kdramas - it has a little bit of everything in it. It's funny though, I started this drama for Lee Min Ho - but I ended the drama a huge Lee Jun Hyuk fan. :D
This was so disappointing, I couldn't even finish it. IDK if it ever got better but not even the awesome Jung Il Woo could keep me watching this nonsense.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. The only thing I was kinda disappointed in was the dropping of the romance storylines - bc there was tons of cute that could have been had - but alas it was not meant to me, I guess.
I actually just skipped a crap-ton of the middle episodes, and watched basically the first third and the last third. I enjoyed this, for the most part. Obviously being a daily things moved at a snails pace and that's where I zoned quite a bit. It feels like characters just go around in circles. lol.
I loved the main couple though, once they finally got together, and they really didn't have much angst either - which was appreciated.
I really wanted to like this drama but, for me, there was just something about it that didn't work for me. I felt like the romance was not properly developed and Jin Se Yeon is a boring actress imo - and I didn't see any chemistry with her and Joo Ji Hoon AT ALL.
Plus, the ending was just a big W.T.F. for me. I know the mom didn't want him to know/burden him but I feel like not telling him for YEARS that she was gone was just cruel + didn't he think it was weird they never chatted at all during the time he was away?
Just finished episode 4 a bit ago, and while this is totally going into makjang territory, I'm OK with it. The leads are fantastic - both separately and together. I just hope TaeHee realizes what a witch that ChaYeon is pretty soon bc UGH.
