My favorite kpop group is BTOB! They have amazing vocals and rap skills. They are also all super dorky and meme-y and they bring me so much joy. My favorite track of theirs is probably their acoustic version of Insane!
It's so hard to get through this drama. The way Gab Dol is toward Gab Soon and just in general makes me sick... he is horrible. I think I might end up dropping it if ep 4 doesn't improve anymore
It seems like a lot of people have been disappointed with this drama. Perhaps since it was Kim Woo Bin's long awaited return to Dramaland after 3 years, people were disappointed when it didn't live up to their expectations. I however, am really enjoying. It's not incredible and extremely compelling like it's rival in terms of time slot, W but the slow pace and the beautiful winter cinematography are nice breath of freshness from all the intensity of other currently airing dramas.
I also don't think people are giving Woo Bin enough credit for how he's portrayed Joon Young. A top star who knows he's going to die and has given up caring about anything except Noh Eul and his mother. I think he's brought a lot of complex emotions to the character. Even small, stoic actions portray a lot. This is also my first drama with Suzy and I find her acting a bit annoying at times (particularly her drunk scenes and any scene where she screams) but I think she compliments Woo Bin well and we have gotten a few good moments of character chemistry I'd like to see more of.
Overall, I'm enjoying it. It's not incredible but I think it's a decent drama and definitely worth giving a shot past the first 2/3 episodes.
This drama is perfection. It is funny, light, sweet, romantic, realistic, raw, and has the perfect hint of mystery that keeps you wondering about all the girls and their pasts. I have loved every episode and often times find myself laughing hysterically one minute and then crying along with one of the girls 10 minutes later. It will appeal to every audience I believe. It's a must watch. I have yet to think of a single thing I dislike about it and honestly I could rant about it for hours.
im really bugged by the fact that the synopsis on this site is so wrong.... they aren't brothers they're cousins and she wants to be a teacher and she's trying to attend college not a prestigious hs
My biggest cases of SLS would probably have to be with:
~ Sungjae as Gong Tae Kwang in School 2015 - I think we can all agree with this one
~ Kang So Ra as Oh Soo Hyun in Doctor Stranger - not a male lead but i feel like people rarely touch on SLS when it comes to female characters. they did nothing to make me love or sympathy w/ the lead female i couldn't stand her and Soo Hyun was was sweet and had amazing chemistry with Hoon
~ Ji Soo as Seo Ha Joon in Sassy Go Go - although i did love the male lead, i think Ji Soo's portrayal of Ha Joon stole everyone's heart in this drama
i also was hesitant about it but decided to chance it for seo in guk and i was not disappointed!!!! it's not the style of drama i typically watch but i agree with what you said... it hooks you and the main characters really keep you wanting to watch more and i love the complexities of the plot. i agree with the comment on side character development and even seunghee could use more development when she's a main character but overall im loving it and glad i got to see in guk in something different than a romance drama!
I was enjoying this drama alot but it's feeling drawn out and I dont like how the plot has become all about Dan Tae and Joon Soo keeping secrets from each other and trying to find out the other's secret, etc. I feel like Gong Shim has basically been eliminated from the plot unless its a scene between her and Dan Tae... this drama could have been done in 16 episodes and I think I would have enjoyed it more.
So, who are the winners?? It's already July 6th 2016 in case you didn't know...I wanna know who won.
Well actually... they're clearly going by PST since they marked all the closing times with PST times and in the pacific its only 5:30pm on the 5th so patience
tbh i find the whole joon pyo plot to be a bit dull at this point and idk if i want to watch it for 6 more episodes... i wish they would focus more on gong shim since she is meant to be the lead and i feel like we only see her now when it relates to dan tae :/
My favorite drama is My Love From Another Star because it is one of my first kdramas and the character Cheon Song Yi is such a wonderful and complex female character!
