firstly, they chose HSS because of the CSAT, I guess in Korea there's this weird obsession with the exam and they know that's the only way the students would willingly join the military since they need more soldiers for the war, they give them points for doing it so yeah, that's that. secondly, I'm also questioning WTF happened to KWB. thirdly, there are scenes from the very beginning of the series that shows that YoungSoo does have an interest in SoYeon, it's just not probably love, more like "I just wanna have sex with her" kind of interest. I don't think he cares about her like that plus he's deranged

SMH. I commented this few days ago and I'm watching the series now. it's not like it's THAT great but it's been pretty good so far, although there are some cringe parts but it's not as cringe as ABAAB at least. I know your standard if you think ABAAB is such an oh so good series btw
