They will either end up together or the four of them will separate; at this point, that's the only possible ending!

Am I the only one who feels like there’s still a huge plot twist coming? 👀 Maybe something involving the second leads? Or what if the story is being told in a way similar to The Notebook?

right because his life surround them he not only giving her up but a family damn that allot after all he can’t…
No, exactly! And on top of that, I also feel like Sua would never be okay with him staying close to Mi-do’s family. After all, she witnessed their relationship firsthand. Someone new who doesn’t know the full history of their relationship might find it easier to accept that kind of situation.

And I also think Mi-do’s family might struggle to accept Sua, because they could see it as him leaving Mi-do for her, especially if Mi-do ends up alone. Of course, the situation isn’t that black and white, but I can imagine that’s how they might perceive it.

Title A Love Other than Yours Spoiler
The preview for episode 13 is giving me so much anxiety. 😭 It looks like he’s going to get into an argument with Mi-do’s brother, and then he says, “I was never happy.”

It honestly hurts a little to see him interpret the love he received from Mi-do’s family as pity. Because I genuinely feel like her family cares about him so much, and they truly see him as one of their own, like a brother and son. I’m really curious to see how that dynamic is going to change moving forward.

I in the preview that Ho grabs taesung by the collar. Can you tell me what happened? And I also saw Sua staring at Ho in the preview. Does it has something to do with the ten-second staring rule?

Nope. He's been treating her like a kid sister. In fact, Su A herself disagrees with you. In this very episode,…
I totally agree with you. You couldn’t have worded it any better.

I would have loved it if the series had taken a slightly different direction, what btw is not realistic hahaha

My ideal ending, which unfortunately isn’t really possible anymore, would have been for both main leads to eventually cut ties with the second leads and focus on themselves. They could learn to love themselves first and work through their own issues.

And the title A Love Other Than Yours actually referred to self-love rather than romantic love for someone else?

Then, once they had learned to love themselves and healed from their own struggles, they could find their way back to each other.

To me, that would have been a beautiful and meaningful ending. It would show that sometimes, you need to find yourself and learn to love yourself before you can truly love someone else. And that two people can find their way back to each other, not because they can’t live without each other, but because they’ve grown into healthier versions of themselves

I could be wrong, of course! And I just want to clarify that I’m not a Mi-do defender. What she did was definitely wrong, and there’s no denying that. That’s just a fact. 😂

But I’m curious: who are you rooting for, and how do you hope the series will end?

But wouldn’t you say that he wasn’t fully aware of his feelings for her at first? Or didn’t want to admit it. I think he already liked Sua, or at least felt some kind of attraction toward her, even before the month they spent dating. However, during the month dating time, he was/is still holding on so tightly to his feelings for Mi-do that he kept his distance from Sua emotionally. I definitely think he still loves Mi-do, but at the same time, I think he has gradually developed feelings for Sua as well. To me, it seems like he’s caught between the feelings he still has for Mi-do and the new feelings that have been growing for Sua.

Title A Love Other than Yours Spoiler
Please don’t come for me, but I think this is an unpopular opinion.

I feel like Namgong is only now realizing that he has feelings for Sua. But if you look back at the previous episodes, I honestly think he’s had feelings for her from the very beginning and has just been refusing to acknowledge them. You can see it in his actions alone. And to me, that means he was already emotionally cheating. Emotional cheating is still cheating.

And Sua, even though she only found out later that Namgong was in a relationship, she didn’t take a step back either. In a way, she’s repeating her father’s pattern, just on a smaller scale.

Of course, Mido cheated too, and I absolutely don’t want to justify what she did. Cheating is wrong, regardless of who does it.

But how can we say that the main leads should end up with the people they cheated with? 😭 Like, why are we rooting for them to end up with someone they developed feelings for while they were still in a relationship?

I feel like the male lead might have feelings for the second female lead because, for once, he isn’t being pitied and is actually seen as the hero, whereas the female lead was always the one saving him. And to me, that’s not real love.

As for the female lead, I feel like she might develop feelings for the second male lead because he makes her life more interesting, especially since she sees her own life as a failure. But to me, that’s not love either.

I feel like both main leads are developing feelings for the second leads because they’re struggling with their own inner conflicts and don’t really know what they want or who they are.

I just don’t get it. We only have 3 episodes left, and I don’t see either of the main leads actually healing before the end.

honestly have no idea how this story is going to end. It doesn’t make sense to me for them to end up with the second leads, considering how much love they still have for each other. At the same time, it doesn’t really make sense for them to end up together either. The most logical ending to me would be for neither of them to end up with anyone, leaving it open-ended.

Title A Love Other than Yours Spoiler
The male lead believes that all the love he has received from the female lead and her family was out of pity. Meanwhile, the female lead believes she isn’t worthy of being loved because she sees her own life as a failure. She doesn’t want to become a burden to him. Both leads are deeply insecure, and starting a new relationship with someone else will never fix those underlying issues.

What I’m really curious about, though, is this: can the male lead actually let go of the female lead and her family? They’re the only source of love he has ever known.

Okay, maybe I’m the only one, but I sometimes find the second female lead a little cringe. The whole “I can’t look at him” thing, looking away, covering her eyes with her hands… I don’t know, I just find it really cringey. Normally, I actually love cringe scenes, but I don’t think they really fit this series. It feels more like something you’d see in a romcom haha

To those who think SFL is completely innocent, let me tell you that she’s not as innocent as she appears. In…
What feels really strange to me is why would you want to be with a man who is already in a relationship, or who is still so emotionally attached to someone else? Especially after everything you’ve been through with your father and knowing that he gets involved with married men. Why would you willingly put yourself in that kind of situation?
