To tell you the truth there is not much to say except that first sentence... While avenging his friend, Tae-woong gets stabbed by Seung-moon. Seung-moon's father kind of adopt him. Out of this situation, Tae-woong meets and falls in love with Hye-ok, Seung-moon’s sister. While helping her father, a politician, he gets involved with a political gang. Meanwhile, Hye-ok becomes a teacher. After their marriage, they face the strong gales of political changes. :)
I guess you are fishing for more Jo Seung Woo acting after watching "Strenger", just like me... ^^

I've watched every single episode of American "Criminal Minds", some of them even more, so I'm EXTREMELY excited to see what Korean version has to offer! ^^

@TeleriFerchNyfain I'm really sorry that my comment offended (?) you! As I said in my comment I've never seen any of his dramas or films so I didn't write that I don't like his acting ect. as you can clearly see... And the thing that he is an idol is just a fact, not an offence! I do not think there is a need to insult me! ^^;

@namopanik @louloudi I have mixed feelings about that but I guess I'll give it a try... There are so many good but also bad comments about Yoona acting... I'll just probably cut my expectations ;;
And the other idol is Im Siwan! He was a member of boygroup ZE:A... I guess I can't call him an idol anymore but still... I do not remeber watching any of his dramas or films so I hope he is not disappointing here ^^;

Can you please help me? I was hyped up when I first read synopsis (it was talking about a king's love which destroy the country) but now, when I see two idols as a main leads (especially Yoona, who I PERSONALLY hated in The K2) and categories - only historical, melodrama and romance I'm really disappointed...
Can you please tell me, if it's worth watching or is it just another really cheesy romance placed in Goryeo without any deeper plots? I will appreciate your help! <3

Well, I watched only two of those dramas - Pinocchio and Love O2O. I totally agree with you! I mean - I have no idea why everyone loves Pinocchio, I don't see anything special about it. BUT! it's my first Korean drama and I wouldn't be here if I've just stopped watching it after that cringey Dal Po scenes in first episode! :)

And Love O2O... I don't know why, but I feel like almost every Chinese romance is just weird and random and that's the charm of those dramas. :D

I'm not going to write a long review, so I'm writing this comment. For me - 10/10. This is first historical drama I truly loved, even though it's 30 episodes long.
As my favourite character I would choose Hong Gil Dong older brother, serously. He is like the most loyal and honorable man. And one last thing...
I may be a little crazy but don't you think that Eom Ja Chi (played by Kim Byung Ok) sometimes looked like that Grumpy Cat meme? Like seriously hahaha
