Okay thanks! Actually now that I went past episode 1 and started episode 2, things started becoming interesting in that episode and so on. I think episode 1 was just boring and I didn't understand some things. But now it's grabbing my attention, currently on episode 6. 😁
This is my first time watching, watched first episode just now and I'm a little confused but I think that's just because I'm only on first episode and everything will make sense the more episodes I watch. Also i thought they'd show the past first then the present but it looks like the first episode they're showing the present first. Idek who's linked to who; how is kid Fei Liu related to Mei Chang SU, and Mei Chang SU to the princess (forgot her name) but I'm excited to find out. Anyway hopefully they will show the past.
My first and only Chinese drama that I watched is Here We Meet Again. So that drama is a modern romance while this is politics drama, so there's a complete difference so I'm very nervous. Because this is my first time watching a drama with politics. I fear I'd be confused and 'dumb' with politics, laws, and whatnot. But I'm excited because I only decided to watch this drama because literally so many of you fans loves / are fan favourites.
(BTW just from the episode, Mei Chang Su and Fei Liu did the high jump thing. Is that normal in dramas similiar to this? Because I thought this would be into a fantasy genre.)
