Finished watching the 2 episodes. Good first episode, the premise and main characters were introduced pretty nicely. I don't know with others, but so far I have issues with the chemistry between the casts and the mood of the drama. The dialogue came out very awkward, especially between NJH and CJH. The tone sometimes got clumsy due to couple failed delivery of punchline and comedic timing by SJH. Gonna keep the expectation reasonable.
Me watching first couple episodes: "trying to be fancy with back and forth storyline, huh?" Me completing the drama: sobbing This drama completely blown me away. It has little of everything: family drama, romance, comedy, thriller, mystery. Surprised that I didn't find it sooner.
I rarely like jdrama, so I came to watch this with a very low expectation. To my surprise, this drama become the…
While I am at it, if I was told to gave summary for this drama, it would probably be beautifully orchestrated train wreck. Tight writing, good pace, concise dialogue, proper conclusion, and well-placed twist.
This came from me who rate Mouse with 9.5. "I was so disappointed reading some of the comments; a lot of you said the drama was dragged. How so?" Here's my answer. For me the whole Woo Chul storyline and OZ organization are good, but definitely not an irreplaceable aspect of the drama. The writer can easily come up with something shorter but better. Mouse is an excellent 20 episodes drama, but 16 episodes would've been sufficient.
I really hope I don't see the movie. This drama definitely superior compared to the movie in many aspects. It has creative story, beautiful cinematography, good music, and arguably better ending. But the original cast in the movie is so iconic that it's hard for me to watch this series without thinking, "if only they used original cast from the movie, it would've been an easy 10".
Surprised to see Lee Jin Wook here. He's been involved in kdrama that I consider good (Sweet Home, Voice sequel, Nine). Glad that after a little research, I found an article that mentioned he's been proven innocent. I hope you have time to update the list! There has been a lot of drama in 2020.
Rewatching this drama. I don't remember ML character is that unbearable. The acting is also very awkward. Sorry but somewhat feel the need to lower the score.
When watching the first half, I wonder how can this drama scored lower that Kairos? It's objectively better! Then the second half appeared and it's a total snoozefest.
TL;DR: If nothing can satisfy you after masterpiece thriller (Beyond Evil, Stranger, Signal) or if you simply looking for overall good drama, watch this, even if you hate Lee Seung Gi.
I've been dropping a lot of drama lately. After Beyond Evil, nothing I've watched could satisfy my crave of thriller. Not until I found this gem. Honestly I always avoid drama with Lee Seung Gi. I didn't really like most stuff with him as a main. Not even his last well-received performance in Vagabond could impress me either. But this drama changed my view of him. His distinct portrayal for somebody that has different personality due to memory lost is the best among drama/movie with the same trope so far (Forgotten is probably close second). One of the best in this drama is that there's no weak character, except probably the mom? Well she's a support and rarely make me annoyed so I don't mind that much.
Gosh, one of the best drama that involved revenge and mind games. Good writing, good cast, good music, everything aspects look good in my opinion. This drama is definitely worth your time. Namgoong Min delivers as usual. But Kim Byung Chul undoubtedly step up his game. I can't believe he only played supporting roles most of the times in his career. For those who expect romance, there is no hint of romance in this drama. So please skip this drama if you look for any serious-themed drama with romantic vibe in it. I've seen handful of votes that purposely lower the score of this drama just because this drama provide no romance.
Damn, I hate FL for playing her role perfectly. The only downside for this drama is that they can add 2 episodes and the series are done. No need for 2nd seasons. But instead they're purposely pull "Signal" type ending.
I'm conflicted. The plot is good, the characters are also not bad, but the pacing is a disaster, especially in the middle part. I felt the urge to skip 2-3 "filler" episodes. Honestly the drama would be perfect in 12 episodes format.
The drama got draggy towards the end. I believe 12 eps are enough to wrap up everything. I can't say I hate it, but please only watch this if you've got nothing else to watch.
This show has an average viewership rating less than 3%. Criminally underrated and underappreciated. I'm glad…
While I'm still here. I think the best aspect from this drama is all of the character is likeable. Usually I always nitpick one character that I'll decide to dislike for the entire of the series. But not this one. Everyone played they role greatly.
Me completing the drama: sobbing
