also, whats w the comparison to hidden love in the reviews... if im being totally honest, the shows are the same, mostly focusing on the romance w no real plot or struggles for the leads. theyre both really good bc they just focus on the leads relationship, with a few problems here and there that get solved rather quickly. these shows were made to feed fans w delulu relationship scenarios 😭😭 ngl a lot of cdramas are like this... its not new imo, but theyre still so addicting to me lol. cdramas are for romance, kdramas are for plot like revenge or thriller and everything else is a mix of everything.
i think you make some sense w his comeback. but like others have mentioned, he trained daily, and kept up w the game even when he was retired. which is why he knew who yin guo was before meeting her officially. i think its insinuating that hes always wanted to go back but had no real solid decision of if he should or not, so he trained as if he was. i mean in the first few episodes he best a champion to win money to take yin guo on a date. i thought it was a cute drama tho lol
i think some ppl are more opposed to kinship than others. not only that but PDA, which yiyang wanted a lot lol. i thought it was weird too, but then i thought, if it were me, i wouldnt want to be all up on my bf in public either. and in private moments, i felt she was just shy bc of what it could lead to. after all he is older than her, so he may not be shy whether he has experience or not, but she is shy bc he is overly loving while she isnt if that makes sense. i liked it, it was so cute. but i dont think they only interacted w chinese ppl. yiyang had many friends/acquaintances there, but i think most international ppl tend to find others they can connect with from their home country. im the same, i tend to gravitate to ppl who speak spanish bc its comfortable for me, but i still interact w locals when i travel.
afaik not based on a real story stop making up thingsi watched and i'd describe it as it is presented, hopefulness…
its not realistic to stay with someone you truly love? this plot wasnt the characters hoping it will get better. its the main leads loving each other and wanting to stay with each other despite hardships. even if they have hard times, whether its work, school, family or money, theyll be fine as long as theyre together. why? bc theyre both willing to make it work, and theyre both willing to provide time, energy etc into their future...
its not that they didnt want to have happy moments, its that sometimes happy moments dont seem happy in that moment because of other worries. ML was stressed about wanting to give FL what he wanted to give her, but FL just wanted to be happy w him. FL was happy and had happy moments, but ML was focused on the future. i think it shows how sometimes you have to live in the moment rather than worry of the future.
Bei Shan could have just gone to the police and said, "I wanted to get back at her for what they did to my girlfriend.…
the thing is he didnt kill her. chen nian did by pushing her off the stairs. he added dramatic charges like gRape and redrum to the story so that it would be solid, and never get to chen nian. he said it himself, he had nothing going for him but chen nian did. all he wanted was for chen nian to live the life she wanted.
the ending can be unrealistic but also not. since they both did time for it, and given the circumstances (bullying) its realistic. some places do allow criminals with a record to have good jobs if they have shown improvement. since chen nian was a model student and killed her bully, its probably that. lots of places are lenient to minors with records.
A curate's eggI ended up liking the middle segment of this show after a wojus beginning. And then it arrived at…
I think with Inhyung they were in a relationship. Since Jaejoon was so pissed about it. Joon just chose his career over her, which shocked Jaejoon amd angered him.
His mom, I think its showing how hard it is for her. To hide the truth about his father, but also because it hurts her. I think shes supposed to feel guilty, which is why the only scene we see of her is getting the vm of the friend saying he told Joon abt his dad, and her apologizing to him. I think since Joon started to call to ask abt his dad, she couldnt get the courage to tell him who he was and what happened between them all.
The dad is important bc Joon is actively trying to figure out who he is and why he left. I think this was a plot bc Joon was at a point where he felt alone, since he trusted nobody else but his manager and had a love hate relationship with his CEO. And his old rookie friend was making his life a little more miserable by constantly making things worse and bringing up the past. So the dad/ring was important in finding out some truth about his life. I think this is also the case considering he had his whole persona, not saying what his actual life and history is like.
And I thought the mains had chemistry lol, they always had me laughing or covering my smile and hiding under my hand or blanket lol.
